We recently had the pleasure of working with the Bayles + Black team from Nest Realty to purchase our dream home in Weaverville. We cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service and expertise they provided throughout the entire process.
Right from the start, Karen and Hannah were on point. They knew the local scene like the back of their hand and had this knack for finding hidden gems in the housing market. Seriously, they made house hunting feel like a breeze. We came down from Boston for a long weekend with a goal of finding our forever home, and they made that dream come true.
One of the most impressive aspects of working with Hannah and Karen was their unwavering dedication to finding the perfect home for us. Lisa was instrumental in getting the house we wanted at the price we wanted. During our move from Weaverville, NC to Asheville, NC she was extremely helpful with getting the right inspections done on time, working with the seller for negotiations, and finding contractors who would do repairs before and after the sale. Even when there were delays in getting the closing date finalized, Lisa was with us every step of the way helping us coordinate with the lawyers and the sellers. She is an excellent realtor and the next time we need any sort of real estate work done we will definitely be contacting Lisa Markee.

Our realtor was Wendy Lewkowicz with Nest Realty and she did a fantastic job! We are moving from out of state so our initial searches were through Zillow. She went to several houses for us and made videos throughout the house so we could get a better sense of the house other than from pictures. Once we had a contract, several inspections were needed during Due Diligence. She scheduled each one, attended each one, and then reported back to us with the results. She was available for conversations whenever we had questions and seemed genuinely eager to help. I highly recommend Wendy if you need a realtor!

Ryan McCullough made my first homebuying experience easy. Too easy...something can't be right here. There's no way I got this house for this price and only had to do as little as I did without some sort of cosmic intervention. In fact, it was more of a hassle getting out of my current rental situation than it was buying a house from him and the Nest Team, so what cosmic event could have possibly led to this happening to someone in the housing market in 2024, and in all places Asheville? Maybe it's some weird divine intervention, but it's likely just a decade plus experience from Ryan, who is also a native to WNC (which is major props when it comes to choosing a realtor around here).

Wendy Lewkowicz was our agent and we could not have asked for a better person, experience, or support (prior, during, and after the sale). Wendy is hand's on, will go that extra mile, and is nice as the day is long. When we hired a cleaning service to give our new place a freshen up prior to taking possession - Wendy jumped in and became part of the cleaning crew as a "gift" to us - and that is Wendy, gracious - giving - and simply awesome! If you are looking for an agent - look no further than Ms. Wendy!!!

I don’t think I can fully express how wonderful working with Lauri Palko for our house hunt was. On top of being knowledgeable, communicative, and a general badass at her job, Lauri is incredibly compassionate and thoughtful and kind. She was patient with my husband and me when we got frustrated with the process and went WAY beyond the extra mile to make sure we were happy. She really became our friend. And thanks to her, we are moving out of our apartment and into a beautiful house in Asheville that we’re so excited about. With our budget and the market, we never expected to end up where we are. I can’t recommend her and the folks at Nest enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could. ?

We recently purchased a condo in Hendersonville and fortunately for us, Tom Haskins was our agent. Tom is patient, knowledgeable and was really helpful to work with. I am sure we were difficult clients because we changed our minds a lot, we looked at a wide variety of homes and locations and asked a million questions. And, since we did not live in the area Tom had to do virtual tours for us. He took it all in stride and made it look easy and if he ever got frustrated with us, he never showed it. We are thrilled with our new condo and are just so grateful that Tom made it happen for us.
