Great at staying the same price just don't miss a payment or forget to recertify on time or it goes up few dollars...but very good insurance other wise

I have had my insurance with this company for years. They have always treated me with respect. They are very knowledgeable and always answer my questions.

I was attempting to help my 86 year old mother with some changes to her policy. They were extremely rude and unaccommodating. She's been a Nationwide customer for over 50 years and are likely taking our business elsewhere. Common curtesy and straight talk are obviously not part of their culture at Johnson Insurance Agency.

These are the most hateful people I have ever dealt with. I am going to another company and just letting them keep the money I have already paid. I never want to deal with these people again. If you are thinking about using them don't unless you like to be talked to mean

Good folk at this office. The insurance business is challenging, so support your local grassroots agents. Nationwide has a good representative here at this office. Also I feel like nationwide treats their customers well. Better than the independent ones imho.

I have never been treated so rudely especially by the owner Tony of the company. When I first was with them they billed me several times in a month. Changing their due dates from their office. I made at least five or six payments just in the amount of 3 months. I let them know I was going with another company Allstate over a week before the insurance would kick in. They did not tell me any Specific Instructions other than it would be taken care of. When I called back a week after it should have been terminated to make sure it was done they told me that I had to come in and fill out a form in person. I work Monday through Friday all during their work hours and was willing to fax or scan something over to them. They were not helpful, the owner hung up the phone on me and used profane language. They weren't willing to listen to me or give me any other options. Knowing that they would be collecting money until I was able to ask a day off to get into their office. That is very shady business! Thankfully I was able to go above their head to the actual insurance company who was very helpful and said that I could easily just scan over the information on a scrap sheet of paper and it would be just as valid. They gave me a hard time for absolutely no reason. I am a mother of three children and these people ripped me off over and over again for all of these bizarre fees. Be warned! They will change your due dates and cancel your policy multiple times. I've never had that happen on any of my insurance is ever in the past. They quoted me a price and doubled it within a few months. Their coverage was also terrible. I was able to quadruple my coverage for half the cost at Allstate. And they are not even the cheapest company I could have gone with. These people are unprofessional and I have never been treated so rudely by a business in my life! Don't waste your time with this company. If you did actually have an accident I would feel so sorry for you because they do not have your back!

Worse customer service experience I've ever had. The CSR is rude and the owner is just as awful. He refused to listen to the complaint. Also noticed that the CSR signs owners/agent's name on paperwork making me not want to have business there. I am doing an agent transfer ASAP.

Today, the agent at this location would not sell me an automobile policy. I provided the VIN # for the vehicle I was about to purchase. She claimed that I needed to first purchase the vehicle and then bring her the bill of sale before she could sell me a policy. NC dealerships are not allowed to sell a car to a client that is not FIRST insured before the sale is processed. When I tried to explain, she told me that she has been selling insurance for 19 years and always requires a bill of sale. Totally wacky and strange. Am I supposed to drive an uninsured car to the agency after purchasing? I've bought several cars and have never encountered an agent so lacking in knowledge. I drove half a mile down the road to another insurance shop and purchased insurance (by presenting the VIN#) in less than 25 minutes, then drove to the dealership and completed the transaction for the vehicle. Stay away from this strange place! A waste of time...
