We got our wedding bands custom made by Emma and were so thrilled we wore them before we even got married. We were looking for bands etched with the mountains that surround our home and a full moon. I sent Emma pictures of the mountains and they turned out so beautiful! I also got a necklace for the wedding with a bird and a heart, a theme that holds a special significance to me. I am so thankful to have these pieces of art to wear. They are truly beautiful and meaningful.

I brought in a ring given to me by my mom, who passed away 20 years ago. The garnet had fallen out of the setting and I desperately needed it repaired and restored. Emma was AMAZING!! She brilliantly redesigned and rebuilt the ring, keeping its original look but making it even more beautiful. She even designed a beautiful set of earrings with 2 of the diamonds from the original ring. It was hard to hand over a ring with so much sentimental value, but Emma was so easy to work with and so talented and skilled. I highly recommend her for any repair you might need! Thank you Emma!!

Emma was the absolute best! She made a very special night for a friend and I and turned what could have been ruined plans into a special experience as another place id booked messed up some things. Happens but I'm glad it did as Emma was just amazing. Great instructor, kind but direct in feedback. She made sure you walked away with a quality piece and experience

We had such a wonderful time casting our wedding rings with Emma and they turned out beautifully! It was such a unique and interesting experience. Emma's communication before and during the workshop was great and she helped us make our (fairly complex!) designs a reality.

Could not recommend this experience enough! When my fiancé and I discovered we could make our own rings, we could not even imagine what a special process this would be. We wanted something classic but with a personal touch. Emma walked us through each step and helped us design and fabricate our rings. She convinced us to *melt* our fingerprints inside each other rings. Emma helped us not only create a beautiful symbol of our relationship, but gave us an experience we will cherish for a lifetime! By far one of the coolest experiences I have ever done. Emma was amazing in helping me create my platinum wedding band. She was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She also had some delicious protein bars and peanuts on standby just in case :)

Having been an enthusiastic beginner jewelry artist for several years I was losing my mojo until I discovered Mountain Metalsmith. I can't thank Emma enough for her instruction and guidance. Her class refreshed my knowledge base, taught me better techniques than I had learned in the past and certainly taught me new skills. I'm looking forward to another class. Individual instruction, small classes, a superb location and work space, the opportunity to rent time using her equipment once you complete a course - it can't be beat. Before you consider other area classes I highly recommend checking out classes at Mountain Metalworks.

Emma didn’t excellent job resizing a family heirloom ring I was nervous about taking some thing like this to get resized but Emma assured me that they would be able to keep the original patina and even match it on the resized section the end result looked fantastic and I would not hesitate to bring something like this back and will be returning for all of my jewelry needs

Have you ever taken jewelry from a museum and wore it? Tempting but no. Well, I did one better. I asked Emma Macchiarini to take a stone I took from a beach in Puerto Rico after reporting on the devastation of Hurricane Maria and make it into a necklace. She crafted one of power and artistry. She asked honest questions, gave me detailed rough drafts and then mailed it. When I opened the letter, it was as the light from a sunrise warmed my face. I wear her artwork on my neck with pride. People ask me who made it. "A genius," I say. "A genius."

Emma was outstanding. My fiance and I took a class that allowed us to create our own wedding rings from scratch. Emma worked with us on design, materials, and advice. She showed us every step but made sure we were confident enough to do it ourselves. She was patient and helpful and made triply sure we were satisfied by the end. Now I have to fight my fiance every day because she keeps wanting to wear the rings before the wedding, all because of how good they came out. Emma does an incredible job and I can't possible recommend her and Mountain Metalworks more!!!
