10/10 experience purchasing an engagement ring.I am from Pennsylvania and was struggling to find something unique. It came down to the wire, as in day before, and I still had no ring.Knowing Asheville was more of a artisan type town, and I was to surprise/crash my girlfriends family vacation in charlotte, i thought I might be on to something by swinging through Asheville first.I found Mora online, and with just a phone call they set a ring aside I was interested in (but not yet sold on). Upon arrival the next day, they were most welcoming to me and my massive dog. There was ZERO pressure, and they were incredibly insightful and helpful.They were knowledgeable on what matters in terms of design/materials but spoke in regular english as opposed to diamond/industry jargon.After the proposal they welcomed us in for resizing and were able to pull off getting it done while we were still in town.The owner, Marthe, is CLEARLY in her destined profession as it was abundantly obvious she is passionate about her jewlery, the makers, and the end customer.Her team, Emily & Gena, were friendly knowledgeable, easy to work with and again not pushy in any way. They listened to my needs and questions and addressed them all and helped guide me to what was right for me and my fiance.The day/week/and memory wouldn't be the same without themMost grateful for their assistance and professionalism.Selection / styles / pricing varied in a good way. If you want something unique and well made, engagement or not, highly reccomend.

Fabulous fine jewelry selection from local artists and some outside the U.S. as well. I purchased my fiancée’s wedding ring here after visiting and Marty and the Mora team were so helpful in answering my questions and helping with the resizing process even though I am not a local. Such a gem of a store and can’t recommend Mora enough!!

Purchase unique earrings and gorgeous Stephanie Ellis stack of rings. They shipped them quickly and are absolutely unique and lovely. No pressure and very supportive of the time it took for me to make a decision. Really love the shop and Marty.

My partner went (in secret) to pick an engagement ring at Mora and I cannot thank them enough for guiding him towards the perfect ring!!!!! The entire event was a suprise, but I am still speechless over this opal piece, im so in love with it ?

This is one of my favorite jewelry stores. They have the most unique, contemporary pieces from across the US. Shopping here is like walking through an art gallery. The staff is as lovely as the jewelry itself. I have a number of pieces from Mora and constantly get compliments on them wherever I go! Highly recommend checking out this little gem when visiting Asheville!

What a beautiful gallery! My boyfriend and I came in to pick out my Christmas gift and the staff were all so welcoming. Everything is displayed beautifully and be sure to ask about the pieces that are not on display - there are a lot! The person helping us turned out to be the artist who made the piece I picked out, so that was a really cool surprise. Highly recommend coming here to see a wide variety of jewelry by tons of artists, many local.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this store! My husband bought me beautiful necklace and also a batucada bracelet back over the summer. Unfortunately the bracelet broke. I contact them and their customer service was spectacular! Within less than a week they sent me a new bracelet! We will definitely go back when in Asheville! Support local....especially Mora Jewelry!

This shop drew me right in while visiting Asheville. I love to buy a piece of jewelry on a trip as a souvenir of sorts. Everything is beautiful crafted and unique. The artist info is on display. I admired pieces ranging from $40 to $6000 and felt no pressure to purchase outside my comfort zone. I appreciate that the sales lady encouraged me to still have some fun and not be shy about touching a few gorgeous items I knew I couldn’t walk out with. I am so happy with the treat I purchased myself and look forward to visiting this shop again. Also a good shop to visit while keeping a distance from others during COVID — I had the place to myself and it is spotless and clearly being kept that way.
