I was a client of Merissa’s in 2019/2020 while looking for a home in Asheville, NC. Merissa was a total delight to work with! She knows her stuff, has deep knowledge of the area, and is genuinely interested in the history of Asheville. She can quickly recognize a good deal from a bad one—spotting cheap renovations long before I did—and she helped me understand true values and desirable neighborhoods, like beautiful Montford. Merissa is also patient, smart, and fun to be with. For personal reasons, I have had to postpone my dream of relocating from the West Coast to Asheville. For now. When I’m able to resume my search for my Asheville dream home, I will definitely be calling Merissa. I hope she'll be available to work with me again! Can't recommend her enough.

I have known Merissa Walkenstein for a number of years. I met in her through my daughter, and she was the perfect person to help me with selling my house this spring. She is deeply knowledgeable about how real estate works, and she took a lot of time explaining things to me, taking care of the entire process in an efficient and helpful way. She was consistent and was careful with every step along the way. There were several problems that cropped up, and she was quick to handle them and had great communication with her company and the governing board that oversees the work. I was impressed with how ethical her conduct was, always on the look out for possible roadblocks. I highly recommend her as a wonderful agent.

This is reviewing Merissa Gail, the realtor we used to find a home in the Asheville NC area. We have had a wonderful experience with her and strongly recommend her for those looking to buy or sell. She has been immediately responsive at all times, even during the holiday period, and paid extremely close attention to our desires and priorities. She narrowed the search for us to a group of homes that are exactly what we were hoping for, and zeroed in on one with her help.
