Well I didn't buy any books but I bought a coffee and it was so good. The coffee was called Civil Serpent and also this might be 50/50 but I also tried the Barista Choice and it was so good. So yeah definitely desvers a 10 out of 10

I’m a big fan of independent bookstores and Malaprop’s Bookstore does not disappoint.Each time I’ve visited the place is buzzing with people browsing, my daughter comments each time “I love that there are people here, it means people love reading”The selection is wonderful and the staff helpful.Whether you are local or visiting from out of town, Malaprop’s Bookstore shouldn’t be missed.

One of the best independent book stores I've been to anywhere. It's a local treasure. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. Parking isn't the easiest but that's the city for you. And after shopping there are literally dozens of independent restaurants to get something to eat at and page through your new book.

Loved this store. Coffee shop inside. They had a fun mystery book buy! Read the description they provide, buy it and you get a surprise opening! If you have the book already, they offer a free exchange for another. Super cute idea!

Cozy bookstore with a nice selection. Even I, a book non-enjoyer, left with a book in hand. The person who checked me out was super nice as well, and had a lovely accent.

The coffee shop inside makes the best coffee I've ever had, and my guest who I stopped there with agreed. I got a mocha latte which was rich, smooth, and put me in my happy place as we sat on the bench outside the bookstore and luxuriated in the perfect concoctions made by the best barrista ever! Next time I'll actually browse the books. Lol.

We're visiting Asheville on a cross-country epic camper van trip and stopped by Malaprop's to pre-order the newest (forthcoming) book by author Allan Wolf, HOW TO TANTRUM LIKE A CHAMPION: Ten Small Ways to Temper Big Feelings (Candlewick). Kudos to James for stellar customer service, helping me place the order. I'm so excited that I'll have an autographed copy sent to me when the book comes out!!
