Our son was meant for this store and this store was meant for our son. He’s 12 and checks all the boxes needed to fit right in. He found his people. The owner, whose name I don’t think I got, genuinely cares and you can tell. He made friends with everyone and even got one girls email address so they can keep in touch. It is hugely refreshing to not only find a store like this but staff who understand and are not bothered by him. Thank you all for making this vacation that much more memorable. The Moores

Love how inclusive this store is! There's lots of cool and quirky things in this store. We really enjoyed the neuroaffirming merchandise. My kids loved the pins and stickers. My husband was fascinated by the vintage merchandise. As a neuro divergent family it's refreshing to find a store like this. We will definitely return next time we're in Asheville.

This is mostly home decor store with throw pillows, signs, shirts, posters, and other knickknacks. There is a section that has taxidermy and other dark and creative items, which is what we were looking for. This is not a full blown oddities shop, but there is a small, interesting section.

PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT! Such a cool store with so many goodies to inspect and maybe impulse purchase, as I did with a bumper sticker that says "Let me merge, I have to pee". Staff was really nice and it seems like a fun place to hang out. There was also tarot card reading in the back.

Every time I visit Asheville, I come to see what new and amazing things are in store for me at MCNU. Take time to browse around and you are sure to find all sorts of funky and unique treasures! If you're into sew- and iron-on patches they have an awesome collection.
I rate Madam Clutterbucket's eight shiny rocks out of a possible five fidget toys.
