“Amazing selection and the most friendly owners! I have never had the chance to really explore buying cheese outside of big chain grocery stores. The owner took the time to talk to me about what I liked, offered suggestions (with samples) and even gave us a little ice pack to keep the cheese cold for the long drive home.”

Colleen provided excellent advice on the selection of beverages we offered and she was very patient and flexible as we worked iteratively to a final guest count and selection. The bartenders they provided were outstanding! All of them were hardworkers and had great interpersonal skills. Ashley was a stand-out as she hustled and had wonderful interactions with our guests - so much so that many people commented on what an excellent choice she was.”

“Great hidden gem right in downtown Asheville! I stopped by here on Christmas Eve day before heading out of town- so glad they were open, needed a last minute bubbly for myself and sweet red for my coworker's hosting the next day. I walked in around 2pm and received a friendly greeting from both guys behind the counter and spent a few minutes perusing the entire store. It's so much more spacious than it looks from the outside and is split up by regions, and in the back there is a case of wines on tap, which reminds me of one of my favorite places back in Phoenix where I first saw something like that- Winston Salem Wine Market has the same feature as well! I wish I had had time to try a few samples, but now I know about it for next time! I will absolutely return here next time I visit. I ended up finding a great chilled sparkling wine and I found a sweet red for my Christmas dinner. So glad I found this spot!”
“Great wine shop off of Biltmore in downtown Asheville. Very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman helped my wife and I pick a nice affordable bottle of red wine. We were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to buy a bottle of wine to take back to our room.Highly recommend this wine shop to anyone who loves wine and appreciates the personal touch you receive from an independently owned shop.”

“Pretty much a standard ABC store except probably one of the larger ones in terms of supply. They have a huge selection of vodkas. Larger than some other ABC stores probably because they have the space. The staff is actually pretty knowledgeable about products and makes great recommendations.They’ve been able to provide me good advice on Tequilas when buying for a gift and scotches also for gifts. One note of warning, not all staff there wear masks and there is a sign posted explaining that they have approved medical exemptions. So if you are uncomfortable with that you might not want to use this ABC location.”
“Forget Everest, conquer the spirits aisle at Asheville ABC! More booze than puns at a Dad Joke Olympics, staff knows their stuff like I know my mom's meatloaf recipe (pro tip: extra garlic). Plus, prices won't leave you singing the blues, more like belting out Whitney at karaoke night. Trust me, skip the pretentious fancy joints - this store's got more charm than a possum in a top hat. Go get lost in the liquor labyrinth, you won't regret it (unless you buy tequila before 4pm, then all bets are off).”

I called to ask if the store had a product I could not find anywhere and the man who answered the phone became my new best friend, he not only went all over the store to chock for it he said sone of their other locations may have it and as he travels he will look for it for me and he also said he would even check “other” stores as he was shopping around himself on his personal t time….. Took my phone number and said he would let me know if he found them and I believe him what an amazing experience GO Harris Teeter you rock!!!! Even if I don’t find the product that I’m looking for what a great experience with a grocery store ♥️”

“Had a wine tasting today with a friend who is getting married. We met with Kristen, and I can honestly say it was a delightful experience. She was so intelligent and FUN. She is simply amazing. Loved every minute of the experience, and honestly, we would have loved to have stayed longer to hang out.
The wines she picked for the bride were absolutely perfect for the brides taste and menu.
The wine shop had an excellent collection of nice wines from around the world that are not over the top expensive. They hold free wine tastings during the year. I do not know if it is monthly or seasonal.
10/10 recommend for wine enthusiasts as all the people that worked in there were lovely. It wasn't the fake kind of lovely either. A calm and inviting atmosphere.”
