“I got my septum pierced two days ago, and yesterday one of the balls on the end of my horse shoe ring fell off. I was devastated because I was so excited to show all of my friends, and no replacement ball would get here in time. We called Empire and the man that picked up (I’m so sorry I didn’t get his name) told us we could come by real quick and pick them up. He said he’d tape them to the door because they’re closing soon and he wouldn’t charge us anything. I’m so so grateful for his generosity, seriously a life saver.”

“Excellent customer service!!! We worked with Ted and Angie and had the best experience. They were so patient with us, fun, made us laugh while maintaining professionalism. They were knowledgeable and efficient and worked as a great team to get us taken care of. Ted even gave me a plastic bag for my LV purse because it was storming and raining outside and he didn’t want my purse to get damaged. They rushed the ring sizings due to our quick deadline and it was ready even earlier than anticipated. So happy with our experience. We’ll be back to this Jared’s for any future jewelry needs!”

“We got our wedding bands custom made by Emma and were so thrilled we wore them before we even got married. We were looking for bands etched with the mountains that surround our home and a full moon. I sent Emma pictures of the mountains and they turned out so beautiful! I also got a necklace for the wedding with a bird and a heart, a theme that holds a special significance to me. I am so thankful to have these pieces of art to wear. They are truly beautiful and meaningful.”

My daughters and I were delighted with the beautiful pieces they had available and purchased a few keepsakes from our visit to Asheville. “Don't miss this special little place! Their name says it all...a nonprofit shop that features handmade products made from various villages in multiple countries. Quality and reasonably priced with much attention to detail. It's worth stopping in to browse even if you aren't in the buying mood. Great spot to find a unique gift for someone. Really appreciate that each item has a tag that shares details about the "making" of product. Fun, inviting staff. While they do carry products for children, it might be a bit challenging to shop with children due to the size of shop and various displays. I love that our purchases contribute to making a positive impact and serve as a reminder of a fun day in Ashville.”

“10/10 experience purchasing an engagement ring.I am from Pennsylvania and was struggling to find something unique. It came down to the wire, as in day before, and I still had no ring.Knowing Asheville was more of a artisan type town, and I was to surprise/crash my girlfriends family vacation in charlotte, i thought I might be on to something by swinging through Asheville first.I found Mora online, and with just a phone call they set a ring aside I was interested in (but not yet sold on). Upon arrival the next day, they were most welcoming to me and my massive dog. There was ZERO pressure, and they were incredibly insightful and helpful.They were knowledgeable on what matters in terms of design/materials but spoke in regular english as opposed to diamond/industry jargon.After the proposal they welcomed us in for resizing and were able to pull off getting it done while we were still in town.The owner, Marthe, is CLEARLY in her destined profession as it was abundantly obvious she is passionate about her jewlery, the makers, and the end customer.Her team, Emily & Gena, were friendly knowledgeable, easy to work with and again not pushy in any way. “I was visiting Asheville for few days and had the chance to visit Lou Lou Boutiques. They had so many cute jewelries, my husband had to drag me out of the store cause I wanted to buy everything! I live in florida and they don’t have a location in Florida unfortunate for me. “We had SO much fun gem mining. Kids (2, 7, 11) and 4 adults! We split a $100 bucket between all of us and came home with bag fulls of good sized rocks, gems, crystals.
