I really cannot overstate how thoughtful and kind all of the staff were to their guests as we all faced the storm together. We enjoyed a great breakfast by candlelight after the power went out early in the morning, and found some time to rest and relax in the beautiful common spaces on the first floor as we tried to figure out how to evacuate Asheville. Our room was spacious and well furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of wine purchased from the front desk on the night of our check-in, before we knew how bad the storm was going to be. Sending much love to the management, kitchen staff, and cleaning crew as they all recover from the storm. I hope to enjoy a future stay here!”

68 Patton Ave, Asheville“Quick trip. Found a great deal on the Hotel Tonight App. Probably would avoid otherwise but it’s an awesome place. Even with kids. We took them out to dinner and on a walk around downtown, including a trip to French Broad Chocolate for dessert, then hung out playing free arcade games downstairs at the draftsman. The rooms are extremely nice. I recommend this place.”

15 Page Ave, Asheville“Amazing service and the location is perfect! I had no expectations but I was blown away the moment we arrived. Valet service wasn’t so welcoming and we walked into the clean hotel and were greeted with champagne! The room was soooo nice and clean and the view was great. We could walk to everything and the hotel restaurant has the most incredible view. I cannot say enough about how AMAZING our stay was but I would highly recommend the Cambria! We will definitely be back and won’t stay anywhere but this place!”
“Our new favorite place to stay now. Staff is stellar. Room is so comfy and had handicapped accessible bathNearby activities: Near river arts area, a quick hop to downtown”

36 Broadway St, Asheville“Great place to stay in Asheville, close to everything we wanted to walk to.Edited! We have now stayed at the Windsor twice. This was our second trip to Asheville, and we had booked a different hotel a little further out for this shorter trip . After some drama when we arrived at the first hotel, we immediately checked out and made a last minute reservation at The Windsor. We should have just booked here in the first place. ?Beautiful building, great location, fantastic service. Everyone was friendly and helpful.Going forward, well just book here every time. ?”

192 Haywood St, Asheville“Very nice hotel. Spacious, great ambiance. Kasey was superb, very friendly and welcoming. I checked in, and went to my room to unwind. I had driven from New Jersey. I loved the room and the view of the mountains. After a short nap, I went to the E'terie restaurant to have a drink and a meal. Brazil was marvelous. He worked the bar like a master. I did feel he could've used some help. It was extremely busy, and as one who travels a lot, I must say: I've never been to a bar where one individual has to do so much work. Nonetheless, he made it happen.
I ordered an item that wasn't on the menu (baked Honey BBQ wings with sauteed vegetables). There wasn't much of a selection when it comes to wings, nor is there a selection of sides, with the exception of fries and potato barrels. However, the Chef accommodated me. The wings were magnificent! What made me cry is seeing Chef Max(?) PERSONALLY bring the meal to my table. I felt like a Queen. He conversed with me (as well with other patrons) and took the time to check on my table. I wanted to tip him, but he politely declined (to which I understood).
The bad, and it's VERY bad.
$30 valet parking is absurd. I guess this is one of the hidden charges they have. Capitalism at its best Furthermore, pulling into the hotel is an accident waiting to happen. Whoever designed the entrance and parking areas should be fired.
The entrance to the hotel is extremely narrow. It reminded me of some of the roads I traveled in Europe. It's VERY narrow, and if you don't watch it it, you'll run head on with another vehicle leaving the property. I drive a BMW...a relatively small model. When turning into the drive, I nearly got popped by an SUV exiting. I can't blame the other driver. He barely had enough room to exit. Moreover, if you decide to take a drive, you'd better hope the hotel isn't busy. The reason being, you will spend a very long time in a line running out into public street blocking traffic.
Lastly, the parking spaces are very tight...much tighter than anywhere I've been. I'm a bit of an amazon (5'11, 190), but still, even with cars parked perfectly within the spaces, it's VERY HARD getting out of your car. If you are a man/woman of large stature, you may want to pay that $30 valet fee. You're not getting out of your car. If you drive a large vehicle (SUV, Truck), God Bless You. Life will be tough when it comes to parking. I guess they made the spaces so small to force you to pay the $30 valet fee.
Rooms: 5
Food/Bar: 5
Friendliness: 5
Parking/Accessibility: -2 (yes, that's negative 2).
Rooms: Very spacious. Quiet. Great views of Asheville.
Nearby activities: Two parks within 10 minutes (on foot) from the hotel. Tennis courts at one of them. There's another park 5 minutes away (driving) also with tennis & basketball courts. All have picnic benches in the shade.
Safety: Relatively safe area. I wouldn't venture through Aston Park after dark. Don't cross the bridge to take a walk after 9 PM.
Walkability: There's an arena within walking distance (5 minutes). Events going on all of the time, from.what I saw on the marquuee.
The Orange Peel is about a 20 minute walk. They have Live entertainment. A lot of places do, actually.”
“Nice hotel no complaints. The rooms were clean and as expected for a mid-level hotel, the staff were friendly. Everything worked as intended. I wanted to run from the hotel and we were only a mile from the arts district. However, at least a mile of that run has no path on it, which was unfortunate, if you have a car, the location is excellent. You are very close to a lot of different things, but I wouldn’t consider it walkableWalkability: There are many things nearby, but not very much as walkable. The roads are well sidewalk and very busy if you have a car there are a lot of things that are very close.”

A meal on The Sunset Terrace" offers great view of Asheville. The "Blue Ridge" restaurant offers a delishious seafood buffet but only on the weekend. Spa, golf, fabulous Holiday events. A must-see. Bring a fat wallet.
Nearby activities: Pick up the Trolley out front for a great hop on,hop off tour of Asheville and it's little known facts of our history.

“Loved the whole experience! I felt like I was pampered the moment I drove up to the moment I left. The rooms were comfy, the food fantastic and there was plenty to do, even during off season! The Downton Abbey exhibit was AMAZING!! I hope to see it again soon!”
“Honestly a good location in town at a pretty affordable price. Clean and nice rooms, comfy bed and Alex at the front desk was so nice and understanding and even let me check in a bit early because Id been up since 2 am. Good view from the roof of the mountains too.My only complaint is they sell toothpaste and toothbrushes instead of being complimentary so grab em before you’re there in case you forgot. Not a big deal though.”

It can get loud, especially if you have the windows open.Lobby was spacious with play of seating. There is even an outdoor seating area.Breakfast was average but that is to be expected.Exercise room was good. Clean and plenty of treadmills.”

He was very kind helping us get checked in and then when we had a problem with our tv remote control and our room keys, he took care of that efficiently. We really appreciate Daniel’s kindness and is attentiveness to our needs. The breakfast was great and our room was very comfortable. The hotel is in a good location to walk to eateries or to drive within a quarter of a mile to various well-known restaurants.”
“I’m not sure what people are expecting, this is a low budget motel, and one of the better ones I’ve stayed in. The room was clean, the WiFi was good, and the staff was friendly. It is run by Indians, I think perceived rudeness is the result of a cultural difference. Most importantly, I felt safe there, which is not always guaranteed at places like this”

We have had it only happen at this location at least 3 different times! Needed to extend, they wouldnt let me at this location.Had to move to another location.I travel 10 months a year, and usually have hundreds of thousands of points from my crew and me staying at IHG,never had any problems anywhere else.So we just stay when they let us.lol”

“This was a very different hotel than what I am used to but I liked it. For me I felt like I was in an apartment building. There was a full size refrigerator, a small stove, a microwave and a sink. I have never seen hotel room look like this. I wish I would have taken pictures. I truly did enjoy my stay at this hotel, would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that the mattress it self was a little too firm for my liking but it did not in anyway put a dent in my stay. Also the front desk lady was extremely professional and friendly.Again I would not hesitate to stay here again. My significant other and I stayed here on 04/27/2024 in room 209 on the second floor.”

151 Haywood St, Asheville“I came down here after hurricane Helene for work and I stayed in this hotel for a month. The living conditions around were dismal, and there was limited water and services provided by everything in the area. Even though I spent every day working 11 hours with 2 day off the entire month. It is still one of the best vacations I've ever had. The people I've met and the experiences I made here were excellent. If everything were open and perfect and this was a vacation. I couldn't pick a better place to go. What a spectacular getaway.
Rooms: Excellent rooms, felt at home for a month.
Nearby activities: There are many clubs, bars, and activities within walking distance. Including the Arcade, a champagne book store, and many other things I can't name that I saw while on a stroll downtown.
Food and drinks: I bought a Whiskey magazine and they were able to make some of the drinks, but I also brought some ingredients like fresh grapefruit because I'm by the book, but they have a decent selection regardless.
Noteworthy details: The photos I included on this trip are from the upper 3 floor balcony and the rooftop of Hotel Indigo”

Safety: Need your key to get in and out of parking and side exterior doors.”
“Our family stays in Asheville every summer when we pick up our daughter from camp and we typically book a rental house. But this year, after reading about the Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins, we decided to change it up and book a cabin instead. This was the best choice: we loved our stay at Wrong Way! The cabins were clean, comfortable, nicer than most hotel rooms, and had a unique, cool vibe. The property was lovely and the air smelled fresh, scented with the lavender that's grown along the pathways. Delicious coffee and a terrific selection of local snacks and cold beer could be found in the lodge, and the guests in neighboring cabins were all chill and friendly; happy fellow travelers!
I had mentioned to the owners that our younger daughter would be celebrating her birthday during our stay and when we arrived there was an adorable birthday card for her in our room. It made her day! Also, our car broke down during the trip and the owners and staff were very kind and helpful, recommending a local mechanic who could help us out. You can tell they are really good people who put their hearts into this place. We can't wait to return under our own less-stressful circumstances and enjoy an outdoor nap in one of the porch hammocks and maybe a communal campfire. We know the property sustained some damage during the floods from Helene, but we have faith that they will make a full recovery. We can't wait to visit Wrong Way again!”
