Rooms: Rooms were renovated but the rest of the hotel was under construction. It was very messy and not welcoming. The elevators were not working well when we visited and dropped me off on a floor that was under renovation.

I came down here after hurricane Helene for work and I stayed in this hotel for a month. The living conditions around were dismal, and there was limited water and services provided by everything in the area. Even though I spent every day working 11 hours with 2 day off the entire month. It is still one of the best vacations I've ever had. The people I've met and the experiences I made here were excellent. If everything were open and perfect and this was a vacation. I couldn't pick a better place to go. What a spectacular getaway.
Rooms: Excellent rooms, felt at home for a month.
Nearby activities: There are many clubs, bars, and activities within walking distance. Including the Arcade, a champagne book store, and many other things I can't name that I saw while on a stroll downtown.
Food and drinks: I bought a Whiskey magazine and they were able to make some of the drinks, but I also brought some ingredients like fresh grapefruit because I'm by the book, but they have a decent selection regardless.
Noteworthy details: The photos I included on this trip are from the upper 3 floor balcony and the rooftop of Hotel Indigo

Hurricane Helene happened during our stay. We lost power, water, phones. Hotel staff gave 200% to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible and provide space for people displaced by the storm.
Location is great for walking downtown Asheville and is also convenient for highway access.

General manager is extremely rude. She hung up on me on the phone because I asked to speak to someone else instead of her would not recommend any interaction with this hotel.

The staff here is absolutely amazing and very empathetic. Every time we interacted with them, they were kind, patient, and made us feel genuinely cared for. However, the accounting side of things definitely needs improvement. We were overcharged, and it felt like we were being ripped off with unexpected rates once we checked out. It’s simply not fair. If you're told that you'll get your money back, that should be honored without issue, yet we were charged twice! Honesty and transparency are key when dealing with customers, and unfortunately, that was lacking in this aspect.
Rooms: The room was spectacular and very romantic.

Multiple problems with this hotel.
#1 The water will give you a rash on your skin from all the chlorine they use. We wondered why our skin was itchy when we showered and sure enough a week after I had red spots on my skin from the reaction to the chlorine.
#2 You are FORCED to use their valet which by the way they don't tell you about at all at reservations. So plan an additional $50 PER DAY.
#3 The BIG ONE. These people have ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. They double dipped on my card and I am LITERALLY FILING A FRAUDULENT CLAIM AS I TYPE THIS. I called and spoke to the so called director of sales who not only didn't give a shit but hung up on me. Absolutely do not stay here.

I had a great experience at the Indigo Hotel! The customer service was excellent, and the staff was really friendly. The location is perfect, with lots of shops and cute stores nearby. The rooms are big and very clean. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the stay. Clean and nicely designed. Boutique style. Great views. Disappointed there was no complimentary breakfast. Enjoyed the Bar ordered the drink special on Wednesday night the Old Fashioned. Very nicely presented by the female Bartender that night. Excellent night cap!

We have stayed at Hotel Indigo in Downtown Asheville several times and have always loved it. We recently got married in Asheville and used this place as our room block. My husband and I used the balcony suites for getting ready morning of and they were PERFECT. The views in all of the rooms are amazing, the rooms are clean and updated. The bar/cafe area just got renovated and everything is so nice. It is so walkable to downtown and the perfect place to stay when visiting Asheville! 90% of our wedding guests ended up staying here and had amazing things to say!

Despite Hurricane Helene knocking out power, water, internet and phone, the staff at this hotel was astoundingly helpful, upbeat, and caring. Several IHG company employees even stayed to help the staff for days. The kitchen was in the midst of renovation, yet the staff managed to get out of town to find pizzas and other food to keep us fed.
Our room was spacious and the king bed very comfortable.
The town is lovely: hilly with views of the mountains. Once the flood clean up is done and the town has recovered, I would highly suggest a visit. Prior to the hurricane we had fabulous meals at local restaurants.

Excellent service—very friendly, helpful and professional. Room was very clean and had recently been renovated. Hurricane Helene hit Asheville three days into our stay and the hotel employees handled the crisis with professionalism and kindness and did everything to keep hotel guests safe and as comfortable as possible (no power, water, cell service, limited food). Super duper big shout out to Darius for working his tail off to make sure everyone was taken care of and to the valet drivers & housekeeping staff for their hard work during this crisis!!! Your dedication is seen and appreciated!! We’ll definitely be back to Asheville and to this hotel… hopefully no catastrophic weather next time!
Rooms: Stayed on the top floor. Great view! Nice suite with comfortable bed, clean linens and bathroom, felt inviting and was recently renovated so furnishings and bathroom were updated and stylish. Surprisingly reasonably priced for such a nice room!
Nearby activities: Short drive (10 minutes) to Biltmore and Grovewood Village, and can walk everywhere downtown.
Safety: Employees did everything in their power to keep guests safe and taken care of during Hurricane Helene.
Walkability: Downtown and close to plenty of restaurants and local boutiques/shops.
