Tasty sandwiches. Guy wasn't the friendliest, but he was there by himself. Weird that there are no prices listed that I could see, so ended up spending more than expected.

I was very impressed with the staff, the food, and the overall experience. I called to reserve a honey baked ham three days before Christmas! I got a reservation number; got there and even though a very long line… it went quickly. All of the staff and consequently all of us in line were in good spirits. Once home, I loved the ease of preparation; Moreover me & my husband along with our Christmas dinner guests lovedall the food from Honey Baked Ham of Asheville, NC! See you again in 2024 :)

The ham is excellent! The cost is WAY too high. A 8.5lb ham costed $100. I will not be back. I can get Boars Head ham at Publix, same weight and great flavor, for much less.

I ordered a quarter ham holiday meal online for in-store pick-up. I called ahead, as the website did not indicate a pick-up time. I was greeted with a bit of an attitude that I should know that there is no set pick-up time. Just sometime before 7 pm closing time. There is a small free parking lot right off of the very busy intersection of Hendersonville Rd & Long Shoals. The store has one table for eat-in orders. There were 3-4 staff working, but my order got pushed up two staff to the manager to process. Needless to say, the customer service left a lot to be desired. However, the food itself was excellent. The sides come frozen, but re-heat well in the oven. Give yourself time, because this will take about an hour if using the oven. We had green bean casserole, Mac-n-cheese & scalloped potatoes. I would recommend adding some shredded cheese to the top of the Mac-n-cheese, but otherwise, sides were excellent. The ham was predictably excellent as well. Very tender & flavorful. The store had many extra fixings available & pleasing atmosphere.

Everyone knows this is the place for the holidays. But have you ever had lunch there? Their sandwiches are superior to JJ's or Whichwich or even Subway. The staff is pleasant, too. You want soup and sandwich for lunch? Check this place out!

Placed an order for Thanksgiving. Said I could pick up on Friday. Called 5 times before heading down to make sure order was ready but no one answered. So I drove down anyway just for them to tell me they don't have any food left. Which is why i called to make sure it was ready before driving 20 minutes. She says the phones are on but clearly was lying she was trying to avoid taking calls. Also smelled like a cigarette ashtray.Pretty lame of you guys to take orders for people's Thanksgiving then not call to let them know your out. Made me drive 30 minutes just to tell me they have no food. Then why did you let me place an order?

Now I know it is close to Thanksgiving, but I wanted to give my mother a big dinner as she lives in Asheville and I in New England. I tried to order and pay for the order on-line. It only gave me the option of paying when I picked up the order. I called the store to see if I can pre-pay and if it was more when she picked it up then they could charge my credit card the difference. They said that was not an option. I picked out gift and usually a gift someone does not pay for. They told me too bad. I usually buy my mother larged dinners that last a few or more days, around all holidays and her birthday. I will not be coming back here to get her a nice dinner.

Cant go wrong.. unless they are out of a side.. oh and no zero sugar drinks there unless you like city water.. so bring your own.. nothing wrong with that..
