Office and maintenance staff are always very helpful. I love the weekly events (yappy hour is my favorite) and how our dogs are included in activities too. They also offer 15 month leases which I don’t think is too common in Asheville. Would recommend living here just for the two pools, two gyms and 3 dog parks.

I toured at this property in search of a new place to live and was not disappointed the property was well maintained and staff was very helpful and made the search for a apt a little easier would recommend this property.

I recently had the pleasure of touring here and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The property is beautifully maintained, with lovely landscaping and well-kept amenities that really enhance the overall atmosphere.
What stood out the most during my visit was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly pleasant and helpful!

I applied here out of state and when I came to tour after paying my application fee I immediately realized that the facilities were not what the website made it seem. I was told that if I did not move forward that my application fee would be returned. I have written and verbal proof that they would send it by check. It has been months since my application fee was supposed to be returned and there has been no response to my phone calls nor my emails.

I have lived here going on 4 years. The staff has always been amazing and the maintenance crew is always on point with how well they respond to maintenance requests. Oh and did I mention they have weekly events?! 10/10 recommend living here !!

Amazing Team! Hawthorne at Southside is a staple in the Asheville area. Great location and wonderful community.Love the weekly events from a Headshot Happy Hour with a local photographer to pool parties. Fun community to meet your neighbors.

Stopped by this campus in search of a temporary new home.
There were several apartments that fit my needs and the agent showed me a couple.
The 2nd unit........had holes in the floor covered by the carpet. Dark carpet, 1 bed/bath.
New residents beware of this. For $14/1500 a month???? At least the units should have solid floors.
They should be ashamed of themselves showing/renting this unit!!!!

Mary Potocki and the team at Hawthorne at Southside are amazing!!! Move in was seamless, they also do discounts for Veterans! The amenities are amazing, personal favorite for my family and u was the Clubhouse Pool and they’re community events are awesome! My fiancé loved the cheese and wine event they had and they have multiple events a month! And move-out was great, Mary and her team went out of their way to ensure a quick turn around for it to get re-leased.

Watch out when you move out. They will charge you for everything in the apartment that is worn out. Carpet, ratty old cabinets, any normal wear and tear. They are scamming everyone that moves out and charging for things they shouldn't be. For example, they are not supposed to charge for carpet replacement when it is older than 5 years, got charged for carpet that was at least 10 years old.
Particle board cabinets were absolutely falling apart, apartment was not painted before moving in and was still charged for these things. They are greedy and unreasonable. Watch out if you are considering moving here.

Love living here.
It's been 7yrs and I love it.
It is a safe place,clean and tidy with good neighbors.
Good staff and quick maintenance service but the computer rooms no good. Every time has issues, either printer not working or computer not working or no internet. Wish they could fix it.

Really great apt complex. i love the pool and exercise area and there's a cute little gazebo you can have held for you to have parties at. the staff are always helpful and polite. Not to mention its close to everything since its right off of hendersonville road.
