I don't think the barber that cut my hair likes her job. She was argumentative and overall the experience was bad. Also none of her equipment was sterilized. Never going to go back.

I'd give zero stars if I could. The manager, who I think is named Stephanie, was extremely rude. Was out front smoking when we got there, right in front of the doors. Then she was extremely rough and unkind with my 7 year old, who had long hair. She yanked a comb through it while he winced in pain. She was nasty to him and to me. Its sad because the man who works at this location is wonderful, but if you go and Stephanie is there, turn around and go to Westgate instead. The haircut she gave my kid had to be fixed at the Westgate location because it was HORRIBLE. She obviously hates her job. 0/10

Don't go here .. the lady barber doesn't behave well or welcoming. Also cut my hair very small, very unshaped. I prefer to go to blevechary bld Walmart area great clips, that's much better

Got a hair cut about 2 weeks ago. Steven was my barber, and this guy knows his stuff. Waited to make sure it still looked good after some time before writing a review. Absolutely the best hair cut I have gotten in years. Great conversationalist, and an artist with a set of clippers.

To Stephanie, the stylist with a horrible attitude who nearly ripped my hair from my scalp;You NEVER comb through textured hair with a fine tooth comb. Regardless of texture, you ALWAYS comb from the bottom up. Otherwise, you are tangling the hair further and causing ripping and frizz. If you feel like the hair is tangled DO NOT COMB HARDER. Wet the customers hair FULLY and then apply de-tangler.Stephanie, if your job makes you so angry, annoyed, irritable etc. that it reflects in your demeanor AND performance, then please do all your customers a service and do some soul searching. You don't have to cut hair for a living, clearly it's not your passion because all of the one star reviews are about you.Please educate yourself on better hair cutting techniques, and consider getting therapy for all the aggression you feel the need to take out on your clients.The line up was the cherry on top.

I recently went in for a haircut and watched Stephanie, a hairstylist at great clips, forcefully pulling at an individual's hair. The person in question possessed thick, curly hair, and she appeared to be vigorously combing through it. The action seemed painful, as evidenced by the man’s reaction of wincing and their head being forcibly jerked backwards. It was quite an unexpected sight, as I had never observed a hairstylist employing such a technique before. I hope Stephanie takes into account the importance of maintaining professionalism in her line of work. When I first came in she appeared visibly frustrated and irritated by the presence of customers. It is important to find constructive ways to manage and express hatred for your job, rather than resorting to aggressive actions such as yanking a clients hair like a frustrated parent.

My best haircut ever! The acting manager did a great buzz cut on the sides and back. Her blades were golden! And she has the softest touch of any haircutter I have ever experienced in my 60+ years of getting haircuts. Happy 76 year old camper! Thank you!Service: Haircut

Had the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life at this location. The lady was so hateful acting and rude I was afraid to tell her it sucked. She might stab me in the head with scissors. The South Asheville location is 10 times better and more consistent.
