Dr Fontenot was punctual, professional and very personable. He spent time explaining the issues at hand. I never felt rushed. All questions were answered. Highly recommend.

Was referred over by WNC family medical . 1st visit was last week . Doctor said we will try shots first then an an MRI . My shoulder is getting progressively worse . I had an appointment with mission neurologist, was told by them they think it is a shoulder. Dr Hansen said I needed an MRI . He said he had similar injury and that he wa sure it was a shoulder . I went back to emerge ortho for the second time . Dr said he thinks it is just arthritis. Back in March I had a high impact accident 8 ribs broken , clavicle, and blood clot . Ended up getting an MRI from another place 12/28/23 . Turns out I have a torn Labrum and rotator cuff. Please consider all options before labeling it arthritis.

At 86yrs I had a Anterior Rt Hip replacement and after 6 weeks of physical therapy I feel exactly how a “Titanium Lady” should feel. An amazing job by my surgeon Dr Fontenot and crew at Emerge Ortho in Asheville NC I can’t thank you enough to be able to walk without any!! Pain whatsoever. ??

EDIT: * Editing to add that I discovered that the doctor they scheduled me to see was specifically a spine surgeon, and not one of the doctors that focuses on hands.For my broken finger.DEFINITELY getting an appointment at a different practice. *Would not recommed. Doctor felt as if he didn't want to be there and rushed me through the apppointment when I was there for a fracture. Didn't take me seriously or even listen to me and gave me entirely unrelated answers to my questions.I also find it confusing that he didn't find a fracture when the urgent care I went to did, and so did the radiologist they sent the x-rays to in order to get a second opinion ALSO saw a fracture. I'm definitely thinking about getting a second opinion from a different specialist. this doctor was rude and uncaring and I would never go back.

After years of martial arts, I suffered some pretty significant injuries to both of my hips. After seeing Dr. Harris, I am currently recovering from my second hip surgery within 9 months of each other. Coming from someone who doesn’t jive too well with doctors and especially considering the two surgeries were potentially career ending, I’ve been nothing short of highly impressed. The staff is super efficient, and the surgeons knowledge has been spot on. The actual surgeries were handled with ease. The first almost felt like a spa experience. The second was more in depth and intense but overall was a positive experience. I appreciate Dr. Harris’ straight to the point ethic and honesty. In our last visit, I had told him I wanted to acknowledge that publicly and he insisted that I wait until I was fully 100% and back to my lifestyle before I did that. I’m not quite there just yet but I feel he deserves the acknowledgment anyhow. Can’t speak on the other doctors/surgeons but I will say Dr. Harris is fully recommended by a not so easy patient, myself. Thank you to the staff and physical therapist (Peggy & Vivian). Everyone has really helped me to get back to my full potential, I will go no where else.

Staff Service and Dr.s are great. A star deducted since the $98 thumb brace I paid there is currently available at Walmart for $29. They made me sign another doc stating I'd pay costs above my insurance. Oh, btw it was a MedSpec brace and a great one fyi.

I feel confident Dr fontanaue. Is the right Dr .we are essentially on a difficult and painful journey My concerns have been listed to and addressed .my gut is telling me this is gonna be Allright. Doctors are the academic cream of the crop . Ive encounterd some serious condescending vibes in the pastnot from this guy .this guy is still down to earth we got this. I'm glad he's on. My team this is gonna be rough kindness and compassion is as important as surgical skill well maybe almost but still just sayin

Dr. Karogeanna was incredibly thorough, tracked all my old procedures took multiple X-ray and referred me for an MRI . This visit could not have been better
