This is my favorite place in Asheville. If I could live in this shop, I would. There was a huge selection of books, zines, art, and more, all in a very inviting and cozy space. I went twice during the short trip I took to Asheville and found treasures each time. Out of the three bookstores in Asheville I visited, this one takes the cake. It’s a must-see!

On vacation visiting Asheville and was super happy to come across Downtown Books and News. I found epic little treasures here! Vintage books, old-school magazines and limited-edition series! I scored five books for $7.00!
