Great wine shop off of Biltmore in downtown Asheville. Very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman helped my wife and I pick a nice affordable bottle of red wine. We were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to buy a bottle of wine to take back to our room.Highly recommend this wine shop to anyone who loves wine and appreciates the personal touch you receive from an independently owned shop.

I cannot recommend this wine store enough! They always have something unique and delicious! There is a wide selection of wine, along with nonalcoholic craft beverages ranging throughout every budget category. Stop in the next time you are downtown and try not to walk out with a new bottle of something delicious ~ I dare you!

A small hideaway downstairs and back a hallway, not visible from the street but a nice selection of wines. The proprietor was helpful but respectful of our space but once we asked for recommendations he leaped into action and directed us to a delicious Chilean red right in our price range. I fully recommend a visit to Crocodile Wine.

I’ve made it a point to come to this establishment for the last two years because of their great natural wine selection. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back I went in and had a great experience yesterday 11/3 bought several bottles and merch was so excited to bring friends today 11/4 when we walked in we were rudely stopped by the owner John and asked “if not all of you are shopping please wait outside” before we could say anything. Two of our party left and we still continued to shop and buy a bottle of wine. The owner ignored us as we shopped and it felt very unwelcoming, I make it a point to seek out natural wine places in different states to visit and I can say this place has a great selection but don’t expect a warm welcome.

Incredible selection and the guy working was super helpful in pointing us in the right direction of what to get. He even recommended a few local tasting bars around the area since we weren’t able to do a tasting at crocodile. Beware it was a little hard to find but there’s a sign on the sidewalk that leads you down stairs to the back where you’ll find the space.

The CUTEST wine store! Organized in a bright and airy environment, it feels a lot more welcoming than the traditional dark wine dungeon! They have an array of choices ranging in prices but starting on the affordable for a college student end!

Crocodile has an excellent selection of natty wines including Pét-Nats, orange wines, and tons of glou glou gems. All are very well priced with lots of selections under $25. Zach helped us out with the wines today. Nice to find wines we like in Asheville.

This place is the freaking greatest. John stocks the best selection of delicious, amazing, fascinating, exciting wines. He's kind, and creative in the cases he puts together if you don't know where to start. The only problem with this store is there isn't one where I live. But luckily I go to Asheville often.

Crocodile Wine is lovely, everyone there has a friendly and knowledgeable presence. I have now tried roughly between 15-30 different wines from here under recommendation of staff and been so happy with the picks! This establishment is a gift to Asheville and everyone that enters. I am a big fan and love having crocodile for all my natty needs.
