This place is a God-send; helpful and encouraging, uplifting and spiritual to the glory of God in every way. God willing, I try to get here once a year to take it all in, and enjoy the speakers as well. There are so many opportunities (January-November seminars) (December concerts) to come and learn and grow in your faith, then relax in the beautiful surroundings, or take a healthy hike or a leisurely stroll, through the many paths and trails. it's quiet; perfect for prayer, reflection, and meditation.

Wow!!!! Can I give this retreat a 10 star review?! Visited a friend who lives in Asheville. She was attending the last week of a Ladies Bible study on the names of God and I went along with her. The study was fabulous. The grounds and the retreat center were wonderful. Everything so neat and clean and well thought out. The gift shop was wonderful. I loved seeing all of Billy Graham's memorabilia and reading all the information. I need to go back and sit in one of the many rocking chairs on the beautiful deck overlooking the mountains. Can't wait to go back for a visit.

We did not realize The Cove was open for visitors to tour until we went to Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. A stop there was added to our itinerary for the weekend. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. They welcomed us, gave us some history about the Training Center, and directed us throughout our visit. What a beautiful property! They have conferences, etc scheduled throughout the year. More info can be found online about those. There is a beautiful chapel on the property and a Prayer Room inside where anyone can go and pray.

1st time going here...it's a neat place to go and check out all the things. Went for the book store and it was tiny and not much or what I was looking for...but was a cool place

This is not a family friendly bookstore. It should not show up as a bookstore on Google. I was in Ashville for the day with my 8 year old daughter and Google "Christian book store". We got here and the man at the gate gave us 2 visitor stickers and told us where to drive to. We walked in the door (it is an extravagantly grand entrance I should have known it was way too fancy for regular people). The lady at the door told me she was sorry but children are not allowed here. She said they had an event going on. I asked her if children are just not allowed because of today's event or never and she said never. That's fine if that's the case but they really shouldn't have it as a bookstore in wearches. We were looking for a place to buy some Bibles and Christian literature. There aren't many Christian book stores around anymore and I get tired of ordering online.

I’ve stayed & attended conferences here at least 40 times. Just departed Sunday. Continues to serve beyond any other place you can rest. So peaceful, great friendly staff. Food & rooms above average. You can’t do better.

We simply drove through and toured the chapel and conference center. We did not stay here overnight but I'd bet it would be top-notch. Billy and Ruth designed a very simple but elegant retreat for worshipping, teaching, learning and experiencing God in natural surroundings. Enjoy the chapel with its huge collection of pictures of past crusades as well as family pictures and insights from family members. Visit the bookstore and take in the vast array of peaceful surrounding where conference attendees can enjoy God's mountain creations.

We absolutely had a wonderful time and a fantastic learning experience. We are already planning our next trip back! The Graham's have certainly made a way for people to connect and learn more about God. What a beautiful peaceful place. A little piece of Heaven here on Earth <3

What a treat! I knew that it was a great place to visit but visiting in person is another experience. You can all about The Cove online but let me share what made an impact. Everything on the property is absolutely pristine, clean, designed with a purpose, smells good, comfortable seating, lots of coat racks during the winter, cubby hole bookcases to put your bible and purse if you'd like, while you eat or during breaks. They are super organized and efficient in the dining room. The food is AMAZING and the service is first-rate. They are awesome at assisting those who need an extra hand or help being served. Everyone is super friendly from the volunteer staff to all of the guests. I think we were just all giddy to be there and enjoy the experience. I went by myself and always had someone to sit with and talk to. The content of the bible study was excellent and the Graham family are all super nice, down-to-earth, soul-loving people. Will Graham is a true Pastor of the people. He took the time to chat, pray and address everyone's questions even in the common areas. I was sad to leave but I know that I will return. I recommend for everyone to go at least once and have the full Cove experience.

This is a must see. The chapel is a wonderful experience and the guides have so much knowledge. Since it is free,I pray that more people will stop and see this well designed chapel. I wanted out group to eat here, but they require you are attending a conference of meeting. The history of Billy Graham is remarkable. They do have wheelchairs available which we used, but call and request a head of time
