all the other reviews are absolutely accurate. Jessica the Customer service manager here knows nothing about customer service. Her ignorance and the lack of training given to employees at Ingles is what will cause the to eventually go out of business. This is my second visit to the store after just moving to the area, and today they lost the opportunity to earn a new local customer. I will not be back. The reason for this is simple; I asked for $1.50 credit when I notice I had been over charged for a produce item on my first visit to the store. This is a chain store and it should have been easy to just offer me a credit for the amount overcharged, even though I had made the purchase at a different Ingles location, which I honestly did not realize until she pointed it out. But Jessica was afraid she would 'lose her job' for the small credit which was merely a principle issue for me, not actually about the $1.50. After accusing me of lying about the item, I promised her this would be my last time setting foot in this store. Very unfortunate the good customer service is not seen as a protection to profits. When you treat customers with courtesy and good will, they become loyal and spend their hard earned money at your establishment. When you are small minded and clearly not looking out for making your customers happy, they go elsewhere for good. We have choices as consumers and my $$$ will never be spent here again

I've been very disappointed with this store more than once. A very simple issue, their rewards card. Multiple times my number hasn't work, instead of just letting me use one of theirs that they have handy, they have to get my info and verify that I have one. I find that very rude. I have to wait for this verification process. Also their whole staff are very young high schoolers who have zero customer service. To make the customer wait to verify over a rewards card is ridiculous. One day I stated how this happened more than once and the young lady just said let's get you another one! Sure! Now today when I went in, the same problem. Why does this keep happening. Once again the same process. Instead the young man brought back two different account numbers because I have two different cards/numbers associated with my number. He was kind enough to write the 16 diget numbers down for me and said if you have a problem just keep these on you and type on of these in. Are you kidding me?! This process is suppose to be easy and rewards pull customers in to shop with you, not for have to haggle with your system not being able to recognize you number. For over prices bougie groceries it's not worth it! when the customer is having issues with their card, you should all have one handy and just use it, it's called good customer service. This process takes away from the easy of shopping. This is the store's problem, not mine and I'm having to jump through all the hoops because their system isn't working. For as much as your groceries cost, get a new system.

Curbside pick up is horrible, I've tried it 3 times and have sat for no less than 20 minutes each time after arrival before I even get a response to my arrival text. Then another 10 minutes minimum before I see anyone, and 2 of the 3 times there has been something missing from the order which was paid for in advance. Ended up having to go inside anyway to remedy. If you're going to offer it, at least make an effort.

This Ingles is one of the worst when it comes to bagging groceries. I have shopped here for many years - large orders. You should see how fast baggers find something else to do if I go through a line with a $200 order-- from dusting to polishing etc. I recently moved and have had the opportunity to shop at the Ingles down by the tunnel. The difference is like night and day which tells me that the manager at the Ingles across from the VA does not hold his people accountable. Do you even want my business-? It doesn't seem like you do. I was in there today and the person checking me out asked 4 different people to help him bag before someone would help. Where's your customer service?

This is like Kroger for us here in Kentucky but Ingles is a grocery store that we went into grab a few snacks and items and I got gas at the pump for four weeks travel down the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had a good experience there it was a dude to try to hit me up for money and I told him no thank you and then he tried tell me a story about being related to Daniel Boone or something so I didn't try to pay him no attention but besides that the overall pumps in store a really nice

If you are an Organic vegetable buyer, please be careful here at 1141 Tunnel Rd., across from the VA Hospital. Three times I've have gone there in the last 2 years and found non-organic vegetables in the organic produce section. Spoke twice with store manager about the product manager not taking precautions. To date, I'm still confused that they don't know what the difference is. I want to give Ingles my local business, but they are making it hard on me. Judi

What is Ingle's you ask? Its just another chain of grocery that I had never heard of because it doesn't exist where I live. It;s got all the things you need from grocery store. Food goods, liquid goods, etc.

Snacks and drinks for the drive East, I stopped in and found an easy parking space. The lot is clean and the cart corrals (there were plenty!) were empty. Inside, clean and brightly lit with wide aisles. The store is large with a big footprint. Lots of grab-and-go and bake-at-home stuff after the produce section and the deli goes on for a while. Butchery, seafood, lots and lots of beer. I did the self-checkout today and it was swift. Prices are not as low as elsewhere but still decent. [Review 12707 overall, 19 of 2020.]

A lovely grocery store with wide clean aisles, pretty curved shelves, and helpful employees. Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty but that isn't normal for Ingles! There was a great hot food bar where we bought delicious chili, spicy and piping hot on a cold evening. Loads of fresh fruits and vegetables, beautiful plants, gift items, and a Chinese food bar with the yummiest stir fry selection.

New vacation home in West Asheville. Closest grocery was Ingles at Candler on Sand Hill. Big surprise. Rates better than Harris Teeter and Publix. Place is huge and spotless. Superb selection. Starbucks on site and ample seating to enjoy coffee and snack.

Ingles hires teenagers to do the checkout and pays them less than $8/hr (slave wage) and being new to the job market they don't realize they're being scammed. They rake in profits, spread stores like a disease and treat employees like servants. And their "registered dietician" Leah McGrath tries to give the company an image like they care about people's health, despite the fact that they happily sell the worst and most unhealthy artificial, artery clogging, disease producing foods available. I don't shop here.
