Expensive and and doesn't ship I have to drive 3 hours every month both ways... I love how medicine that is NEEDED can cause you to go on a Poverty diet.

I am so grateful to Katelyn Owensby at Asheville Compounding. My Dr. referred me to her for ongoing hormone imbalance issues and I wish I had found her years earlier. She works with my complex situation (EDS) and answers questions or researches for answers when she doesn't know. She will keep working with you to make sure she gets it right. The folks at the counter are attentive, fun, supportive and just all around enjoyable people. They also work remotely so even if I am traveling or if I ever leave the area I can continue to work with them.

I could not be happier with ACP! Their consulting services and prescriptions for HRT have significantly improved my quality of life. They go above and beyond to communicate with my physician. Kaitlyn has been extremely helpful with testing and discussing options. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. ACP even blended meds for my cat that previously had been impossible to administer. So grateful!

I've been getting hormone creams here for years. The staff leaves a LOT to be desired. Get your products and get out. If you can find it somewhere else, you would be better off. They are just not great with their customer service.

My experience at the Asheville Compounding Pharmacy has been exceptional. I truly feel like my pharmacist cares about me and takes time to get to know me at every visit. We have partnered to find the best hormone replacement therapy and I feel so much better these few months later. And, the space itself is beautiful . . .it exudes healthy living. The staff are very friendly and are always helpful with any questions that I may have. They have gone above and beyond for me with any prescription issues in the past. I prefer to come here over other pharmacies just for the sake of peace of mind, knowing they will treat you right. I even used to work at Walgreens and could not get my own coworkers to be as helpful!

I like the idea of supporting a local independent business. However, I can no longer shop at Asheville Compounding Pharmacy. I have a repeated experience (3 times or more in just the past year) of them practicing what seems to be "phishing". Here's how their scheme works: they generally will not inform me of the price of a medication at all in advance. Then I get a receipt where the medication is 10 times the price it should be (for instance, $450 is charged, when the medication is normally only $50).Then, when you call them on it, they apologize, say it will never happen again, and refund the price. However, I believe they do this practice with the hope that most people won't notice the high price, and they will be able to unethically make 10 times the profit.The other scenario they use is when you do ask them in advance what the cost is, they will "float" out an absurd price to you, again generally 10-times what the cost should be. Then, when you insist you won't pay the price, they apologize, tell you the "real" price, and insist it was a mistake, and that it will never happen again.After this scenario happening now almost every time I have to get a new prescription filled, I've realized it's a scheme they are using. It is unethical and absurd.Perhaps it is just an ongoing error. Perhaps their staff are simply incompetent. I don't know for sure. If it is an ongoing error, then how could anyone trust that they have the presence of mind to actually put the correct pills in the bottles -- I mean, if they can't even figure out the correct price to charge you?Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.(Response to Asheville Compounding Pharmacy's response below: The experience of misquoting prices or attempting to charge me 10 times the actual price happening in person to several times. Once I was there in person, I was charged much more than the correct price for my prescription, but I only realized this after getting to the car. They did refund the difference at that point -- but only because I caught it. There were 2 additional times within the past 3 years, when I visited in person. Thankfully, before the higher mistake price could actually be charged to me, the person at the counter told me the price they were going to charge, and I told them it could not be correct. They then "looked" for another price, and found the correct one. This is a total of 5 times in 3+ years where I was charged or almost charged the incorrect price. And let me be clear -- the incorrect price was always a mistake in favor of Asheville Compounding Pharmacy, never towards me. Hence, my suspicion that something untoward is going on there. There may not be written records of those exchanges.)

Absolutely phenomenal pharmacy experience! One of the only Pharmacy’s that pick up the phones, and Kevin is amazing at customer service. They also carry reputable brands for supplements that I’ve never seen at any other pharmacy.

I would love to do a commercial on this if you ever need meMy name is Rene Sparks I've been diagnosed with a severe dry eye it's genetic I suffered for years in the past 5 years has been horrendous on 11/11/22 I want to see a doctor Jordan Masters a dry eye specialist my whole life changed he sent me over to Asheville compound pharmacy I was literally losing my vision I was on six medications prescribed by my doctor not working six other medications over the counter for many many years my entire life has changed I knew within 2 weeks of doing my plasma my life has changed oh my gosh my pain was easing up I'm 7 months in right now and I cannot believe my own blood and plasma has changed my life I lost my parents at a very young age each drop I do reminds me of them healing their daughter making me be able to see again I'm beside myself every time I call the pharmacy I can never get off the phone because I'm so overwhelmed with such Joy I had a nervous breakdown 5 years ago because of it and other circumstances that are personal I was falling I even had to have surgery in a total knee replacement 11 weeks ago that was from the past of me falling so much nothing to do with you know now but the situation calls me to have two operations a major one February 23rd 23 2023 I just had a major knee replacement due to the situation of me falling continuously and running into things I had to have a total knee replacement. I was continuously bruised up I don't have these issues or problems anymore I can see it's a miracle thanks to Jordan Masters an the compound pharmacy

Even though I have lived in Asheville for almost 20 years, I am new to ACP and couldn't be happier. The pharmacy staff are kind, friendly and helpful. They have a thoughtfully curated variety of OTC products too, such as supplements and even CBD products.

This place is wonderful! I’ve always used larger pharmacies like Walgreens but took a chance and the switch to Asheville Compounding Pharmacy six months ago and I’m never going back to a large pharmacy. Ever. The staff is great, the environment is wonderful, I’m no longer stressed the f out doing my regular pickups for the things I need
