WOW, I am blown away by the products!! As a die hard Lush fan from before they came to the US, I can honestly say this has me converted! I bought gifts for myself and my BIL and I was blown away at the quality, how my skin feels and the lingering scent! It's subtle yet present even after my shower. You have a customer for life!!

The store smells incredible and the lady who helped us was so kind! :)I am pretty sensitive to smells and often get a bad headache, but didn’t get one at all here! Really lovely, natural soap. We’re happy to support their business and so excited to use ours when we get home!

Best soap shop in the USA. I've been a customer for years and the owner and staff are kind and incredibly funny. They use organic/natural ingredients and the olfactory pleasure remains for the entire use of the bar. Lavender, patchouli, and deep forest scents are my faves.

Just unbelievable how good the soaps, candles and face cream are. I bought a menthol soap I just love using it and the face cream is improving my skin texture and I have tried everything in Sephora and ultra but nothing suits me. Its just a great find and absolute joy to visit this cute little place.

Called a bunch of times today ro check on stock, then decided to drive over and check it myself because they do not pick up their phone. Managed to find parking amd arrived well before 5PM, only to find the shop closed. Frustrating experience.

I absolutely LOVE these soaps. My boyfriend and I were in Asheville for a long weekend, and walked into this store. We met one of their employees (I can't remember his name unfortunately) who was friendly, kind, personable, informative, and helpful. I say all that because it is no longer a common finding to have helpful and enthusiastic staff members so it was appreciated and made our day even better. I work in integrative medicine and so am always looking for more natural home products for myself and to be able to recommend. We bought 4 soap bars, and they are AWESOME. Gentle on my face with less acne breakouts since using them. Improved dermatitis. It smells great, is effective, natural, and we love supporting small local companies of quality. One bar lasts me about or even a little over a month with daily use (twice a day for my face). We did make sure to purchase a bar soap holder for the shower with drainage holes as the employee informed us proper bar soap care plays a big role in how long they last (TRUE!) so be sure to do that. I look forward to being a long term customer of Appalachian Natural Soaps! If you're thinking about it -- just go ahead and try it.

Love love love this place! I can’t burn most candles because they irritate my eyes. These candles smell amazing! And using them for lotion is a plus! Highly recommend!

Wow... we just happened to wander into this shop today and the scents in the air were so fresh and heavenly we had to see what they offered. We lucked out to meet the owner Victor and he sampled a few of their homemade scrubs and lotions on our hands and the emollient naturals and delicious scents from the essential oils they use were fantastic. A half hour later we left with a small bounty of items! I'm excited to use the Whipped Sunshine Lotion and also the Cinnamon Oatmeal soap bar for my eczema! Can't wait to head there again to check out more of their items! 10 stars!

By far the best place I've ever gotten natural soap from. If you are in Asheville you HAVE to stop and shop here.I got like 15 bars and got a few for family and friends, they're obsessed. They said it has significantly helped their skin and they plan to order some online soon! I can't wait to come back and visit. The owner is one of the nicest guys I've met in a long time. ❤️Absolute pleasure to come here, can't wait to come back.

You MUST COME HERE!!!!!!! Best place EVER!!!!!!!! Stumbled upon it on the way to a coffee shop. A BLESSING!! The vibes are absolutely immaculate. I could spend forever in there. The employees go absolutely above and BEYOND!! Feels like having a conversation with a friend who really cares about you. Not pushy or anything related to that. Truly there to care for customers & make people happy. The best of the best! Will recommend to EVERYONE!! There is something for everybody here!

I have only visited one time when my husband and I were there prior to Covid. The woman at the register showed me SUNSHINE moisturizer and described how well it worked. I decided to give it a try on my elbows where I have intermittent flare ups of fiery red rashes/ no dx. Well it cleared this up very quickly and rarely do I have to use the steroids which if go from clear to burning. I am buying my third jar today. I LOVE it and am buying one for my dermatologist! The

Love this place for natural soaps and skin care.I get gifts here just about every year around Christmas time, and ALWAYS keep a supply of their "Appalachian Sunshine" all natural face and skin lotion for myself. It's the best. Made with all the goodness that skin loves. I wouldn't really call it lotion because it's better. The man behind the counter today was really kind, and very patiently put up with me talking to someone on the phone with my AirPods in (which I know is annoying).
