I have never had such a positive experience as I had today at the Anthropologie store in Asheville on Lexington Ave. Wendel and every team member we worked with was heavenly. Wendel is wonderfully engaging, candid and very helpful. My sister was putty in his hands and she bought pants and a belt that looked great on her. I will be back to shop here for sure!

I had the retail experience of a lifetime in this store recently. all of the staff were so kind and helpful, the store was clean and bright, it felt fun in there. Ally and Olivia in particular were i n c r e d i b l e retail associates. they both deserve a raise, for real. they helped me bringing things to a dressing room and even added things they thought I might like, and they were right! their help made me truly want to spend money and continue shopping. it was a retail therapy kinda day for me and it wouldn’t have been the same without the anthro avl staff.

I was in need of a dress for a wedding and Lily was the absolute best! She pulled so many pieces and looks for me. She made me feel so special and was a great help.

I was a first time customer & helped by Veronica. She made me feel welcomed, like I was a friend. I can’t imagine shopping anywhere without her. Thank you Veronica!!

Anthropologie's has lost it's stylish allure of quality for me. It is no longer what it was a few years ago. Anthropologie's own clothing brands are simply trash & made in China. I previously bought a pair of expensive Pilico dark grey jeans that shrank, they also faded to a washed-out grey color (despite washing cold and inside out) and became loose abd completely lost their shape when worn. I also bought a long sought-after $70 elasticated leather belt that I loved. However, after a few months the leather stitching started to unravel and I had only worn it infrequently. If you shop here, I highly recommend choosing other name brand items.

How I ended up paying double for an item I returned:I went to return items in the store and while the girl was returning my items I let her know I wanted to buy a few things, so she offered to hold the items and complete the returns when I checked out.I did have a good shopping experience and the staff were helpful, HOWEVER, the lady originally checking me out had left (bc presumably her shift was over), and she had not communicated where she was at in the checkout process to the new employee helping me check out.The new employee had a visibly difficult time completing the returns, I'm not sure if this was her first day, or what, but she was flustered and the whole process took about 30 minutes. She told me she messed up the return and could give me an anthropologie gift card for store credit with the amount or she could reprocess the return. I opted for the card I could use for store credit. When I got home, I realized the 'mess up' was ringing up the purse on the debit card on a return that I paid cash for. So, I paid $80 cash for a purse, and after I 'returned' the purse, I have $80 charge on my debit card. The Anthropologie card covered the cash I paid for the purse, but now I have an $80 charge on my debit card that was never used in the original transaction when the purse was purchased.I basically just gave Anthropologie $80. I don't live in Asheville, so I called the corporate number and they said they can only help with online orders.

What can you say? It's Anthropologie. I love their stuff but most of it is ridiculously expensive. You could purchase super high end luxury brand items for the same price as their stuff. Might as well not even go in. ?

Just like any anthro, it's super cute and very clean. No complaints and they greeted you very well and kindly.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible experience, because of their extreme mask enforcement. Only recommend going if you love wearing face masks for fun!

It's everything you expect it to be and products/design including national and more local designers. It's a more up scale retail experience with quality goods that have a flair of artistry. There are also little knick knacks. This location seems to do a great job of offering decent discounts on a lot of their goods and even more significant ones in the discounted section. The Asheville location is much friendlier and inviting than others but that's mainly the employees and partially that's it's Asheville. The employees here were very helpful and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of goods that usually don't disappoint. Associates will come ask to hold things at the counter for you so you don't have to carry them around. They also quickly, carefully, and effectively wrap and bag fragile items.
