It's truly a special place. The animals are really well taken care of. You can pet most of the animals, and they're so friendly. The woman we spoke to was informative and clearly has a passion for her work. Will certainly be back next time I'm in the area.

Animal Haven was just that! An amazing haven for all kinds of animals that might otherwise be in horrible conditions. What a breath of fresh (farmyard) air to be able to interact with these animals as fellow denizens of our planet rather than commodities, pets, or the myriad other ways we often categorize other animals. I was also especially smitten with a special black kitten that I really wish I could take home with me to Los Angeles. Hope they find a cozy loving home soon!

What a great place! We had a guided tour of the sanctuary and it was obvious how much care and passion they have for these animals. I especially loved spending time with Bubbles, a rescued pig! ❤️❤️ If you live in the area or are visiting Asheville, it's worth a visit to the sanctuary and thrift store!

The most loving and compassionate environment where rescued animals once abused and neglected get to live in peace . I encourage everyone to visit the thrift store and volunteer to help the animals. The fresh air, hard work, and TLC from the beautiful creatures might just open up your heart to make a monetary contribution also.

This is a wonderful sanctuary for farmed animals, where they can live their lives free of abuse, exploitation, neglect and murder.Everyone here is kind, compassionate, welcoming and fun!I had an amazing time at their fundraising event!The Vegan food, music and auction items were amazing!I will be volunteering soon!

It was clean and animals had spacious living areas. Kinda just had to wander around and was a little disappointed there wasn't more interaction with animals. Would go back again.
