Lindsay Zinger ripped out my hair in 3 sections in the back around the crown of my head and tore it with a razor on 6/6/23.

Angel is a genius! I have actually never had a “style” cut before- always just a trim.
I gave her the freedom to do whatever she wanted with my gray/box-dyed hair- long and half curly. She went to town- and gave me my first ever style cut, and I love it! And it’s so easy to maintain.
Angel has a true gift and I would book her if you can!

Went to Ananda west for the first time and was happily surprised by the clean, gender affirming, inclusive & welcoming environment. I was given a quick tour of the salon and then offered any of their variety of drinks, tea, coffee wind or beer. I grabbed a yummy cup of coffee and was then seen by Lindsey, and received hands down one of my absolutely favorite haircuts I've ever had! I have plain long hair and was hoping for a fun textured cut ✂️. We decided to go with a long shag which turned out amazing!!! I couldn't be happier. Lindsey listened to what I wanted and was a delight the entire time. I'll be back again soon!

I absolutely love going to Ananda downtown. The space is super modern and comfortable and I love their products and displays. The person at the desk was friendly and efficient. I met Sloan outside of the salon and recruited her the minute I put eyes on her. She is so sweet and friendly and her hair is so cool, I thought I have to get her to do my hair. It totally paid off! Had a cut and tone, she did a great massage and I truly love my new do! Thanks Sloan!! ?

Angel Vass is one of the most amazing hairstylist I've ever met in my life! I've never experienced a shampoo, haircut, an blowout like hers ever in my life! She gave me exactly what I was looking for! When I got out of her chair my hair was silky and smooth! I will definitely be back for more! Thank you Angel!!! We had really good conversation as well! She's a Jewel ❤️

Absolute worst customer service. Completely messed my hair up and was completely unwilling to redo my hair even though they have a policy stating they provide complimentary service.

Kendall gives me a super cute cut! Plus she shapes it so well it lasts a long time without looking ragged. Her eye for color is great, the glaze and highlights look natural, although she can do colors like green, orange or purple if you want! AND she’s a lovely person.Parking is free at Ananda West. They offer a selection of teas, coffee, water and wine. Great place!Services: Hair glazing

I had a wonderful experience with Michelle Lopez. My hair was quite a process! She is very professional and sweet. She was attentive to my needs making sure I was comfortable, was very clear about the plans for my hair and what she was doing all along the way, dedicated to the final product being just right for me and overall had a lovely and focused presence the whole time. I moved to the area after using the same salon for many years and was nervous. I had my old stylist make notes. At my first appointment, they barely did any type of consult/questions about what I wanted. Also didn’t seem to listen. The color turned out not great- way to light and way too uniform. They barely did any type of a cut. I went back again to downtown location for a blowout because I had to tape a TV interview the next AM. again they barely listened to what I want. The blowout looked like I did it myself and didn’t even last until the next day. It was just literally blown straight with barely any product- and was over $100. When I have gotten blowouts in the past they last 3-5 days.

I really appreciated how much time and care went into the shampoo! Haircuts are a luxury service for me and it felt great to be pampered. Nadja listened to what I wanted and delivered. Most of all I appreciated not feeling pressured to keep up with small talk. I’m pretty introverted and that can be a lot for me. It felt good to sit there and enjoy and not feel like I was being rude for not starting a conversation. Nadja was recommended to me for this reason in particular by my boss! Thanks so much for a great experience. The space was small and intimate, with parking on site which is a huge plus!Service: Haircut
