Affordable but that’s it. There are no local employees, the units are in terrible condition, heard music coming from them, and when I have tried to communicate with them upon moving out they pretend they haven’t heard from me and continue to threaten. Just don’t do business with them.

Place is always trashed. Or someone always blocking the road. Always glass or metal in the road so be careful easily get a flat tire.

Email you one price to storage units going to be going to cost you a month then charge your credit card a different price. This is pitiful.

Very easy to book a unit online. They provided the lock, which is nice. Least expensive unit in the area. Unit was very dirty, lots of silt inside the unit, makes me think it might flood. Fencing needs to be replaced. But my biggest complaint is the pile of junk outside my unit. This really needs to be cleaned up.

Before you rent here, look up the owner's social media handle: SweatyStartup. This guy is extremely pompous, almost like he is trying to be a parody of a terrible landlord/entrepreneur.He brags about paying his overseas "customer support" team $1 a day to keep costs low. He is one of those "self-made" business owners that got a big loan from daddy to run low quality operations like this.If you have so much extra junk you need a storage locker, please, PLEASE store it literally anywhere else. Don't support this guy financially.The best thing that could happen to this property is that it gets sold off and torn down. Maybe one day it can be a park or some houses. Instead it is probably the most poorly run storage locker in all of WNC.

Before you rent here, ask yourself "Will I want this couch in my house after it has been sitting in a dirty, non-air conditioned, flood prone concrete box for a few weeks?"Seriously, no one should be paying money to store stuff here. It is gross.

Update: This place is getting even worse. Avoid at all costs. It's unbelievable that this "storage unit" is allowed to run like this.Original: I wish I could give this 0 stars. It's not a storage unit, it's a homeless encampment and junkie hangout. Watch out for needles on the ground and other trash all over the place. The "security fence" is a broken chain link fence that someone destroyed with a car. I would completely avoid going here at night unless you are willing to get robbed. Unit break ins occur regularly. Don't expect Bolt Storage to help you out if (when) this happens. They will just make excuses. Look at their responses to the other reviews mentioning break ins.The new owners do not care about this property at all. I would not be surprised if this was a front for something. Avoid this "business" at all costs. I can't believe anyone would run a business like this.The owners and the city of Asheville should be appalled. This place is an embarrassment.If all that is not enough, it is also in a severe flood zone.

DO NOT PUT YOUR BELONGINGS HERE!!! ON 4/05/23 I WENT TO MY UNIT JUST TO FIND IT EMPTY. I CALLED BOLT TO SEE IF IT WAS THEM AND WHY, CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID IT WAS NOT THEM SO I MADE A POLICE REPORT, THEY DID SEND SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE BUT WHAT THEY SENT WAS NOT EVEN MY UNIT IT WAS THE UNIT 2 DOORS DOWN FROM MINE. I DIDNT HAVE MUCH, AND TRUTH BE TOLD I HAD PROBABLY 8-10,000 IN MY UNIT. WHAT I HAD WAS VALUABLE TO ME THO. MY STUFF, MY KIDS STUFF, MY OL MANS STUFF, AND MY MAMAS BELONGINGS THATS ALL I HAD LEFT OF HER!!! I WONT GIVE UP AND LET THIS GO WITHOUT SOME TYPE OF SETTLEMENT FOR MY BELONGINGS BEING GONE, AND THE PAIN IN SUFFERING IM HAVING FROM LOSING WHAT I HAD LEFT OF MY MAMA.

Worst storage facility ever!!! Do not use these people. I suspect they are involved in an organized crime ring. A few weeks ago, many of the Storage units got broken into including mine. I tried to contact them many times because I had thousands of dollars worth of furniture in my storage unit that had been stolen. They would not cooperate with me at all or even the local police. Someone else in the reviews for this place mentioned it may have been an inside job. I suspect the same.
