Find this place if you love art. It is nestled in the River Arts District. i came last Christmas and went to
the gallery and was amazed. by the collective arts of several artists in here.
i purchased a two day workshop in encaustic painting for myself and a friend with Bridget Benton.
it was amazing!
The workshop came with all the tools and supplies needed and each workspace was completely set up. Bridget is an experienced artist and instructor. Her handouts were well organized and the materials were top quality.
I enjoyed the small classroom size of 5 students which provided for 1:1 instruction and we could see other students work. Everyone was happy with their work.

Wonderful gallery, with artists working on paintings, making jewelry, and finishing clay sculptures.....so much wonderful art to see!! 310 also has classes, taught by the professionals from the studio.....so much fun!!

Amazing art on the walls and even better art teachers. Has an eclectic art selection that ranges from local jewelry and to great local painters in lots of different medias. Also offers art workshops to all levels.

Bridget is an exceptional teacher. She is extremely generous with her time, materials, and knowledge. I just loved her class which I took with a friend who was also interested in encaustic art. We were so inspired and we had such a good time. She took a lot of information and demonstrated it very well . The instruction we received in class covered the waterfront on what can be achieved in encaustic art. She was so generous in giving us supplies and letting us use all of hers!

This is the third class I have taken with Bridget and not only do I have fun but I leant A LOT!!! I wish she gave a week long class. I would be in in a heartbeat

I have never been to an art studio however I was excited to visit 310 Art to see Sally Auman’s work, and it did not disappoint! Everyone there was so friendly and the talent is unbelievable. I can’t wait to stop by on my next trip to Asheville ❤️

Bridgett led a very well planned encaustic worksop. You really needed nothing but to show up. She was knowledgeable, and helpful. The abundance and variety of supplies and techniques should get anyones creative juices flowing!

Ive been an instructor at 310 for 9 years and love that all the instructors but their students first! There is always a wide range of workshops to check out!

Very nice artwork! My favorite was the giant renditions of different snacks/food items. I found it very nice that you could also meet some of the artists. They do artwork right in front of you, which is something I'd never seen before.
