Terrible experience getting my second Covid vaccine . The young girl was rushed and I had blood and part of the vaccine running down my arm . It was disturbing ! Go elsewhere for your vaccines

It is a "***self service Western Union***" walgreens associates can only help you get to Western Union at the terminal. All personal information has to be typed by you they can not assist you with your information.)The Western is on a touch screen in photo department. like all technology the touch screen can freeze/ restarts your progress and can be frustrating if you're in a rush. if you feel that self-service is not for you then you need to go to a Western Union that has associates that type your information in for you.

Agree. All following Covid safety guidelines perfectly as carefully as humanly possible. I'm as a dinosaur aging in today's society. Retired disabled from many years of customer service, my disabilities hinder my survival and customer service isn't as relevant to corporate America as in my working years due to population and corporate greed. I understand most people are doing 3 jobs 4 one paycheck, leaving little time 4 human compassion. But not true at Walgreens! Staff at this particular Walgreens always makes time for the customers. It's not just me & other handicapped or elders, as I've noticed they are attentive to young people as well, which I appreciate. Been a regular customer here many years. Living alone with grown children out, I spent several Christmas Eve nights "shopping" in Walgreens, enjoying the music and atmosphere. It was a 24/7 store then, and I wasn't as disabled as now. But Parkinson's has joined my other disabilities and taken my driving and walking. Called today to see if I remembered correctly as I often don't now. My Christmas miracle! :) They have added a wheelchair up front, so I will be able to get the guy who drives me to my doctor appointments to take me there to Christmas shop! God bless this Walgreens. Don't get out much now. SO grateful they have a way I'll be able to shop with them again this year. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate. My kids will once again be getting their gifts from Walgreens and me this year, God willing, and I'm very grateful. The atmosphere in this store is very happy and friendly. Only place I have actually looked forward to shopping for the past 15 years honestly, as a sensitive soul. This is a great place for me to be :) This has been my personal experience shopping here over many years. Always helpful staff in a comfortable atmosphere. Worst so called drug store ever. My pain management doctor called this store on 10-11-19 to see if they had the medicine I needed and the pharmacist told him yes so he sent the prescription to them. Well I call them 10-13-19 the pharmacy twice and they said we will see if's it's ready only to hang up on me. I call a 3rd time and they tell me they don't have any in stock and did not know when they would have it. I'm hurting badly plus very angry as I don't have my meds and want have it tomorrow plus don't know if I will get it Monday or when ever. This is the 2nd time I have had problems with getting a prescription filled. I use another drug store for many years and they did not have this drug my doctor wanted me to try instead of one that has been reformulated and is generic and does not work at all. Never use this sorry so called drug store as it's a joke that is not funny at all.

There are more than a few drug stores in Asheboro. Do yourself a huge favor and take your business to any one of them other than Walgreens. I have been trying to give this pharmacy the benefit and f the doubt for months but I'm done. They NEVER have my Rx ready. I call it in and there is always a problem within their ridiculous "system". As I sit here now waiting again for a Rx that I called in on Friday. I got a call at work about insurance which is stupid because I just picked up a covered Rx YESTERDAY. I explained that to the lady that called and she said she'd fix it. But of course when I showed up after work to pick it up they had no clue. They are simply clueless. There's a little independent pharmacy not two blocks from my house. I'll be visiting them from here on out.
