Unfortunately I have to write a negative review. This is my second and most likely last purchase from this Modern. The sales person Robert was great. My issue is with the service department. I bought a used car for work and had an issue with the sunroof as it was creaking. Service department "looked" at it and said it was just the cold weather. Purchased the vehicle and was happy. For about a month until I opened the sunroof for the first time and it was stuck open. I contacted modern and they took the vehicle in for service. After a day I got a call saying they have to send it out for repairs since they were unable to do it. After 1 week I called to check on the vehicle since the dealership had not updated me. Multiple times I was bounced around and had to leave voice-mail. No call back. And when I did speak to people it was different information everytime. Finally after almost a total of 2 weeks I got my car back. When I finally got in the car the tank was basically on empty there was dirt on the headliner and dust everywhere. my kids car seats were moved and there was a nice rip in the back seat which looked like it was made by a tool. When i asked the manager about it they claimed it was there before I brought it in. I've had the car for less then a month and used the backseat once. I wouldn't be annoyed if they owned up to it but to hide it and make it sound like it was my fault is ridiculous. Also to leave the car in that condition is unacceptable. But at least the sun roof is fixed now so that's why they have 2 stars.

Oscar Robles was incredibly helpful. He answered all our questions, explained and walked us through a number of the technology setups, etc.. We appreciated his calm approach (vs. hype or pressure) and how he listened and patiently worked with us to finalize the sale. When I drove back the next day to bring some final documents, Oscar came out to greet me before I could get to the dealership door.All the other staff involved in the trade also walked us through various steps, were informative, and so pleasant. Several greeted/checked in on us while we were waiting for info/paperwork, etc.The dealership is very hospitable and friendly. Wonderful service! So glad we drove from Greensboro to Asheboro!

I had looked for almost 4 years, for a nice, low mileage "clean" Camry. I kept checking the Modern emails, saw what I was looking for. Of course, I needed to have it cleared by my mechanic. The salesman was very nice and addressed any concerns I had. The Christmas bow was a nice touch also!!!!

Between my papa and I, it was the absolute BEST experience we have EVER had at a dealership. Rick by far deserves a raise. He was not only perfectly helpful but he was willing to work with us to get us the car that we needed. I even took several of Rick's cards to pass out to other people that I know. Anytime in the future that I need a new vehicle HE is the one I'm going to, hands down. Rick was very patient and kind and this establishment is blessed to have a soul like him. Keep being tremendously awesome!

Highly recommend this place! Go get your next vehicle with salesman Juan Lopez ! He helped my husband with his trade in. Provided all the information he was looking for and assisted in everyway possible. My family and I are very Satisfied with our first Toyota. 100% recommended.

Only come here if you're a seasoned buyer. Rolled a used car off the lot, a week later started leaking oil. They promised a detailing job, had to come back since they didn't do it. Got charged with an extra charge that I called to get taken off a day after purchase, took weeks to get rid of that. When working with sales about the warranty/returns, they just said "That was what was agreed to" "There's not much that can be done now." That's the problem with customer service nowadays, it typically ends after they got your money.

I had been searching for a RAV4 Prime for months, but could never find one that I could test drive or even sit in - and then, suddenly, I found one in Asheboro. The decision to drive 80 miles to obtain a new car was made very quickly, and I had some anxiety about how it might go. But from the very moment that we arrived, everything went so smoothly, and everyone at the dealership was so kind, professional and helpful. I had called the day before, and spoke with Erica - she was great! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Robert, who was incredibly warm and helpful - he made everything very easy for us. And Rufus in the finance office was great, too. We drove away with our new Dream Vehicle, feeling that we had been very well-treated and cared for. Honestly, how often do car-buying customers feel that way? In my experience, it is pretty rare.

Bought a car recently and worked with salesman Rick. He was really friendly and easy to work with. The only negative I have is I’ve had questions since regarding the financial side and leave multiple voicemails without getting calls back. Otherwise good experience in person.

What a great experience! Car buying made easy. Worth the drive. Mr. Newman made this one of the best and easiest car buying experience we have ever had. I called, made an appointment and Josh greeted us as soon as we pulled in the parking lot. The 4Runner was detailed and ready to go so we didn't have to spend 3 hours waiting after we decided to purchase, that was a 1st for us. Everyone else involved were friendly and helpful as well. My daughter loves her 4Runner so thanks again.Terrell Sharpe

Looked for months for the Malibu we wanted. Many dealerships described their car as nice and clean only to arrive and find no where near those requirements. Modern Toyota , well let's just say I'd give them a 11 on a 10 scale. From first phone call from receptionist,to my salesman Steven shore things could not have gone smoother. Gerald was professional, kind and willing to meet my needs. The broker was friendly and professional too. I never felt any pressure and would be glad to work with them again. They met my every need. I was a walkin client, as a young woman they treated me with dignity. The sales person took time to show me how my car operated, set up my apps and showed me all the new features! They even got the best loan for the new vehicle I purchased since I had no recent credit history and use cash for everything. If you need a car, you can't go wrong with the care and courtesy of this dealership.

This dealership is by far one of the best to use when purchasing a vehicle! I had taken my car to get inspected and wandered the lot while I waited. Robert Miller met with me and I let him know if I was going to get a car I needed AWD. He got the keys to the car that met my checkpoints and I ended up leaving with a brand new car! Modern Toyota’s sales team and finance team cannot be beat! Thank you for an amazing experience!
