Delk's Army-Navy Surplus Store is a large and well-stocked shop, often called Disney World for veterans. It has a wide variety of items, from military gear to Boy Scout equipment, swords, and costumes. Customers find everything they need and often discover surprising finds. The store feels like a giant indoor flea market, with lots of items to explore. Although a bit out of the way, visitors say it is worth the trip. Prices may be a little high, but the selection makes up for it, especially for camping, hunting, and survival gear. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent customer service. Many customers have been shopping there for years and plan to return, appreciating the fun atmosphere and diverse inventory.
Everyone needs to visit this place at least once in their lives. It's a classic institution in military surplus and an Old North State treasure, to be sure.
