“This was my first time using Penske and I must say, they have an amazingly professional, capable, helpful, and friendly staff, especially Angela in Franklin, North Carolina, and Taylor in Asheville, North Carolina. I highly recommend you choose this company over the competition, and if you are fortunate enough to be helped by either of these women, you will surely see what I mean.”
“So far so good I’ve rented twice with national and I travel a lot but some of the workers don’t have good communication stills. As if they don’t know where their vehicles are located.. so they had me walking around in circles and had to go back to the desk and ask them the same question. It’s like they don’t really care.”
“Five stars are not enough, We rented a 26 foot U-Haul and had trouble with the after hours check in , spoke with the main call center about the issue for what seems hours. So we decided to call the dealer at Martina’s on a Sunday and she not only had us in the truck check in but she took time to actually do it from her phone and walk us through the process in less than ten minutes. Ten stars ?”

“We drove in this morning with a defective trailer light hook-up. We couldn't pick up our Uhaul and head 600 miles home until it was fixed. Even though they were really busy, Lupe began working to rewire us right away. No one minded that our family of seven set up our lunch and hung outside the bay door to watch the process. Wonderful work, guys!”

“I have always rented trucks from Penske. They have excellent availability, good customer service and well maintained trucks. I used a 16’ foot this morning to do a 33 mile loop, picking up a sectional from a furniture store. Used 6 gallons of gas. Penske should update the estimated fuel economy of their trucks. (As posted on their website) 5 miles per gallon is pretty dreadful.”

“I see the other poor reviews so your milage may vary but I had a great experience. David was professional and helpful, he even went above and beyond and offered to loan me a trailer light adapter when they were sold out and I was having trouble finding mine. He made sure that the trailer was hooked up safely and even installed some extra safety devices on the chains to make 100% sure everything was good.”
“Left a bad review here. Was wrong location. Was so angry at Penske Enka Service Manager, I wasn't seeing straight. Ryder does and I hope always will treat their Rental Drivers with Respect. Not like Penske. I recommend Ryder versus Penske Enka. Sorry for the mistake.”

“Don't know the name of the guy behind the counter but he was the only one working and there was a line of at least 6 people. He stayed calm until help arrived and was professional and did his best. Because of him I will def rent a truck from this location again.”
“The good/great - I rented a cheap truck to move items that I wouldn't been able to move otherwise. What more do I want for $100?!Yes it is confusing to go into the mall for car rental services when it isn't clearly stated. Yes the lot to the trucks is hidden out behind the mall. No they are not abundantly staff. Yes the staff can be curt.All I can say is 2022 doesn't look to be shaping up to provide any more willing labor than 2021. Good luck to all those unsatisfied customers who don't want to pay more for a truck, but want a truck and to get pampered at the same time.”
