Things have gone drastically downhill there since I first moved in 3 years ago. From high turnover of qualified and a personalable office staff to very unpleasant, business driven people that currently only care about the bottom-line, and walk around these days with their fake smiles and generic and insincere "hellos", except for when giving tours to new prospective tenants. Case in point was that upon my recent move out, I was billed charges for (coincidentally the entire amount of my deposit): 1) a cleaning fee for an apartment that I spent 25 hours myself cleaning immaculately and was so deemed by 4 other neighbors I had look at it (and took pictures of) the night I moved out; 2) charged for "half an oven" - whatever even that is? And billed $547 for that, when an equivalent brand new one at Lowe's or Home Depot costs $499-599, when it is totally inapplicable here anyway. It was severely lacking in performance during the entire time I lived there and definitely needed replacing for someone who would be cooking for a family (20 min to boil a pot of water, oven temperature consistently off by 50-75 degrees). I lived by myself so I just dealt with it and never filed a maintenance request, but joked repeatedly about it with several of the maintenance guys for years. They blame the lack of not filling a maintenance request as grounds to charge me rather than addressing the real problem of it being a defective oven, and 3) billed me for the prorated remaining life of the carpet, that had no damage I caused done to it. There were some mild soiled spots in front of the couch area where I sat for 3 years but nothing major. I even cleaned those with my mini shampooer the last night, which I also did to the entire carpet regularly throughout the lease (every 3-4 months), even though I was also owed 2 full "professional" carpet cleanings (as part of their lease renewal bonus program, 1 for each year of renewal), which would have easily cleaned those spots with no problem with the strength of their machines. Overall the management office is just doing a "money grab" once again, as they have done continuously in the past to previous residents since the personnel change, which we've all just laughed off over the years. Unfortunately it's my turn now and rather than remaining quiet, I'm choosing to bring it to everyone's attention to help others from also being victimized down the road. So do yourself a favor and make sure to speak with several other residents, primarily ones who have been there for some time, and not these ones just writing about a property they've only "toured", but haven't actually lived in or dealt with the office staff or their under-performing, and understaffed maintenance department, who actually just fired 2 of their best guys during ironically, "Maintenance Appreciation Week". Guess it was to save on the cost of those 2 extra lunches. Be very careful in your review of this property before selecting to live there. Taking the time to look elsewhere could save you lots of aggravation and money being stolen out of your pocket as well. Yes, I'm quite frustrated at the moment but am totally speaking the truth. You may keep an eye out for my other social media posts coming soon where I will also bring to light the continuous bad actions and intentions of this company. Things such as neglected or diminished lawn and pest care, excessive delays in repairing/correcting maintenance requests, a pool that sat empty for 6 weeks during the peak summertime usage and extended over 2 major holidays, broken equipment in the gym that was never repaired just thrown out, filthy hallways and stairwells, cigarette butts and dog waste scattered throughout the property, inconsistent trash pick, etc.. I have several photos to substantiate the claims I have made herein but not sure how to include them here so I will do so on my other posts. The 2023 staff and property amenities were great. They made my move here pretty awesome.
2024 UPDATE: After living here 15 months, we have new management staff. So far, they’ve added, increased or doubled fees with little to no explanation/justification, and decreased or eliminated the facilities and services provided to residents.
Our pool was closed from 5/22/24 to 7/10/2024. On day 30 they stopped clearing debris from it and let the water turn green.
We used to have four treadmills in the fitness center. One stopped working and now we have three. I opened three service requests to have it fixed. The first two were simply marked ‘Complete.' The third was marked ‘On Hold’ and it was physically dismantled for weeks. Then, they threw it out.
We used to have an after-hours security officer. In January, they let him go. Now, if there's an after-hours disturbance or issue, we are told to call the police.
We used to have a garbage collection service come by and pick up trash 5 days a week. This summer, we’re lucky if they come by three times a week. Regardless, we all pay $40/mo for this service.
We used to have all our packages delivered to our doorsteps. Now, we have a "package room" in the 1000 building at the top of the hill. This requires all residents in the four lower buildings to hike up a hill to get their packages. We all pay $10/mo for this 'service.'
If you look at these things individually, you may see them as just inconveniences. But if you look at them as a whole, do you see a pattern?
But hey, at least we're not the Artisan. Their residents worry about gun shots.

Moved here four months ago with family and this is by far the best place i’ve ever lived. Between the ladies in the office and the gentlemen in maintenance they go above and beyond to make sure you feel right at home. Nice gym, great swimming pool, and awesome club house with a pool table and tv. The elevators are great which helps us out with my grandmother (and helped us lots with us moving in). They’re pet friendly which is a plus. And they do events every month including prize drawings from time to time. We won a $25 gift card which was great. This is literally like living in a 24/7 resort. Couldn’t ask for a better place to live or better people that help run it.

very nice place to live but we haven’t had a pool in over a month and have never seen anyone working on it. it’s very inconvenient!!!!

Typically, when someone comes in, they will leave and Aventine process page that they were in and fixed it, but I haven’t seen anything left. I did notice a difference that the foster was not dripping as much but it’s still dripping a bit. Didn’t realize that it was fixed

The request was never completed. Nor started. But it’s complicated because I need to pay for maintenance request. I left water running and have moldy smell in my apartment. It’s only around the kitchen island and seams in carpet are already there. It’s a small half day job. I explained to office I explained to maintenance but nobody is getting back to me.. I left 4 stars because it’s not a normal issue..

I always feel so well taken care of by all staff! Anytime I have an issue, which is rare,. Everyone is so quick to respond and takes care of it so well.
