highly recommend these guys if you have a sprinter van. they were able to fix the transmission of my 2006 dodge sprinter (mercedes engine) with 417,000 miles on it. after they fixed my van i drove it from north carolina to Washington state with no problems, the van is still running like a brand new van. they text back so quickly with updates on the work they’re doing to your car and they’ll send you pictures of parts you should consider servicing in the future. really excellent serviceServices: Transmission

I recently took my new to me w221 Mercedes S-Class to get a quote on a brake job, front and rear pads and rotors. I'm a Mercedes enthusiast and have always admired the rotting w140s and w126s decaying in front of Val's shop, anyway he quoted me $1500... When I winced a little he said it's cheap it's nothing Bla Bla Bla, saying the front rotors and pads for an s63 are $1500 just in parts... That had nothing to do with me, my car is an s450 not even a 550 let alone a v12 or AMG car. I didn't say anything just was kind of stunned by his imaginative figure. before I left he added I should just buy a Civic or something if this was a problem for me, condescending. Well Val here's what I did rather than scour Facebook marketplace for a Civic. I bought Zimmerman Rotors, Jurid Pads and new sensors on FCP Euro for $540 incl tax, FCP has a 15 to 20 percent premium over some sites selling OEM because of their lifetime replacement guarantee. so these parts could feasibly be attained for around 450-475. I had a local tire shop change them and bleed the system for $280, took them something to the effect of 2-3 hours tops, they've been bedded in and are working as they should be. Now this begs the question Val, where is this huge discrepancy were you screwing me on parts cost or quoting me 350-500/hr of your labor? If you presented me this garbage quote without the condescending attitude or just straight up told me you were busy and didn't want to do the job, I would not have written this review. I'm sure your work is decent if you don't mind getting bent over. Best of luck!

I’ve been entrusting my Audi A6 with Val for over ten years. He’s the most honest resource for auto repairs I’ve encountered. As a woman, he treats you with respect and fully explains auto systems/repairs needed. A dealer once told me I needed an extensive repair over $1,000 / after two days at his shopI picked up my car and the bill was zero. Val said absolutely nothing is wrong with the car! Probably the best recommendation I have gotten in Asheville. An expert in his fieldand as ethical as can be!

Val has worked on on my trusty old Mercedes Sprinter Van formore than five years now. While sometimes the final bill is more than I thought it would be, more often it is less than anticipated. He did a magnificent job rebuilding my fuel injection system. The final bill was less than I anticipated He is very sympathetic to his customers and tries extremely hard to keep them happy. My office is more than a mile away from his shop and I can't remember how many dozen times he gave me a lift to my office down busy Hendersonville Road AND THEN picked me up to retrieve my van at his garage. He is generally a very positive person and, as a business owner myself, I freely give Import Auto Performance the highest possible recommendation.Services: Auto power window repair
