“Great Prices...good Quality..just be careful if you are buying produce, sometimes it's been handled a lot, but the quality is always good when they have just put it out fresh”

“Love this little roadside market that has everything you might expect from a small apple house-cider, many varieties of apples that you may try a slice of before you buy, giant butternut squash, sweet potatoes, beets, pickles, preserves, and many other fruits and vegetables. Good prices and good quality produce.”

“We absolutely love this place. The staff here are super friendly and I believe I got the opportunity to speak with the owner as well. All around great people and delicious apples. They have a type called Roxbury Robust (I might have mispronounced) but it’s a must try! I simply can’t wait to come back.”

“Today I took my 2 year old here and she loved the pumpkin maze with the slide that went into a kiddie pool full of dried corn kernels. She didn't want to leave. They had free face painting and animal balloons being made. They had a beautiful plant selection and I just loved everything about this place. Thank you for the good time today.”

“Helpful and friendly staff at this business. They almost always have what we're looking for and the produce is top notch. In the event that any product may be subpar, they're really good about exchanging for a better product. Only have had to do this once in dealing with them. Good records too, with receipts supplied with each and every transaction. The warehouse has a good vibe too, with all employees being cheerful and helpful. The funky music they play is helpful in getting a good start to the day. Would reccomend to anyone looking for quality produce.”

“Stopped at the WNC Farmer's Market while traveling through Asheville on Veteran's Day to pick up some fresh vegetables. The patriots at Coates & Sons Produce noticed my husband was a veteran and handed him an extra bag with a "thank you for your service" as we departed.Unbeknowst to those kind folks, my husband just returned a week ago from his fifteenth hostile overseas deployment, and he was very touched by the gracious gesture. ??”

“My husband and I visited yesterday to use a gift card. We haven't gardened from seeds before and are amateurs who have only grown a couple veggies from starters. The staff was incredibly kind and patient as we asked questions, and so helpful giving advice for each of the seeds we chose. Highly recommend to anyone shopping for seeds locally or online.”

“I like going to Aldi's. They usually have better prices than other places and comparable items. It was really nice going there today during the day when there were a lot of people. So I really enjoyed that even more.”

“It's been at least 12 years since I shopped at Aldi. I truly forgot what a great store it is. Their produce is great. They have an assortment of just about anything. Including items you don't see in other stores. I didn't need anything particular. I just had some time to kill and ended up coming home with 10 bags for just over a hundred dollars. I spend that normally on just 3 or 4 bags since prices have sky rocketed. I'll be adding them to my weekly shopping before I go anywhere else. Even if they don't have everything you need, it's worth the time to go there first.”

“In and out no problem. Lots of room and overnight parking. Weird check in. Just put bills in trailer back up to dock. They lock airbrake gladhands and then bring you paperwork when done.”

“Feral children sprint down the isles while a young white man with a single dreadlock sings loudly while perusing the vegetable isle. Carts veir wildly like Atlanta traffic. Coughing and chaos. An old woman hunkering over a cart meanders towards the checkout, she is no match for the fast walkers. Will no one help her? Will no one let her in? Fair trade bags filled to the brim with crunchy granola only to return and be filled again and again until the only crunch is the soft click of the carts being returned to their cold orderly prison. They stand in solemn repose, waiting for their next mission.”
