Worst company ever for standing behind their product.
HR was rude, and promised to replace defective patio table, which warped, and actually rotted.
The whole set should have been replaced!

I bought a polymer porch swing from Uwharrie and it is fantastic. Quality craftsmanship and design. Also, Erica was very helpful responding to my questions on multiple occasions. Thanks!!!

UwharrieI purchased a Uwharrie Chair Veranda Wood loveseat bench from Uwharrie Chair via Luxe Decor. I had called Uwharrie Chair direct and spoken about the various finishes as well as the timelines but they could not sell directly to me; I would have to go through one of their vendors. When I ordered through Luxe Decor on 4/1 the initial timeline was 5-6 weeks. All said and done, I received my piece of furniture almost three months after I ordered it. On several occasions I called Uwharrie Chair and left voicemails requesting updates on my order but would not receive a return call. They would be out of the office for several days but their voicemail would not be adjusted accordingly saying that they were out of town so I would just have to keep calling until eventually someone would answer the phone. Honestly, although a little frustrated with having to wait so long to receive my order, I didn’t mind too much as I was so excited that I was finally about to have my bench I had been waiting so long for! (although it did get lost with Fed Ex which delayed it another couple of weeks but at this point, who’s counting, right?)So, at last, my handyman comes to assemble this long awaited bench. To my utter dismay, when we open the boxes, parts of both of the two pieces are broken (the seat and the back.) SO. VERY. DISAPPOINTED. This is a custom made wooden piece of furniture that was shipped in a cardboard box with absolutely no padding or wrapping around it. No shocker that it was broken. Or is it just poor quality? When I called the owner of Uwharrie, she told me that they could send me the pieces that were broken and I could have my handyman fix them. So her resolution is that I have to pay to fix their poorly shipped product/poor quality product (not sure which one it is)…How does that make sense? I paid for a brand new, fully intact, undamaged piece of furniture and that is what I wanted. She said that was not an option so I chose to return it. Not at all impressed with Uwharrie chair.

Unfortunately, this company has zero customer service and their product does not even come close to a "lifetime" as they proudly claim on their website.

Unfortunately, this company has zero customer service and their product does not even come close to a "lifetime" as they proudly claim on their website. We purchased 6 pieces of one of their adirondack sets and spent thousands of dollars expecting heirloom pieces that should last many, many years as they state. We have had these chairs and tables for maybe 8 years and they are warped, splitting, cracking, and structurally unstable. We have spent the better part of 6 months calling and emailing with this company and sending pictures to them as requested on their part. Owner Todd Butner has even responded once to my wife and recognizes that there is an issue with the chairs and was "going to the shop that day" and would discuss with his team and see what our options were. He advised we should hear something back that day. Well, that was August 8, 2016. After 10-12 repeated calls and speaking now only with his secretary, she advises she will get him the message and we will hear back from him soon. I advise anyone that considering purchasing this company's product to spend your money elsewhere. For something supposedly made to be outside and stand the test of time, it comes no where near that. We did not expect these chairs to be handed down to our kids, but we certainly expect a quality product that is aligned with the price they charge. Now off to Google reviews to warn people about this company there too.
