Hotels in Archdale, NC

“We visited Thomasville NC last week to take care of business with a family member who lives there. When checking for hotels I like Hampton Inn. I have stayed at them all across the US and always have a pleasant stay. Thomasville is a very tiny town. The hotels in town looked a little older and less cared for. This location was about 6 or 7 miles from Thomasville. Closer to Greensboro, which is a good sized city. The location was close enough to the family member that getting to them was not an issue. It was close enough to make me happy. So we chose it. It is easy to find since it is just a few yards from the exit when you get off the interstate. For this trip our results were the same. They live up to the Hilton Brand reputation. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. We stayed in one of the suites that had a separate living room area with a TV, sofa and chair. I might have wished for an extra table to put down a drink as they only provided 1. That would be my only negative to list for the stay. The beds were comfortable. The room was extremely quiet. And we were on the end of the hall close to the ice machine and elevator. But we never got woke up by any noise from the hall. We ate the breakfast provided each morning. The food was all good. It was hot. There was plenty of it. And each morning it was something different to give variety. They have waffles every morning as they have restaurant quality waffle irons set up. Each morning they had different flavors of batter to make different flavored waffles. And plenty of toppings to put on them. Enough to rival IHOP! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. And eager to help with anything you needed. The ladies at the front desk were extremely pleasant to talk with. My wife enjoyed the complimentary water bottles and I enjoyed the snacks while watching TV in the evening. So if you find yourself traveling to the Greensboro NC, or surrounding areas, I heartily recommend this location to be one on your list to consider.”

“I stayed at the Quality Inn in Archdale for a wedding I recently attended. We initially had reservations at one of the neighboring hotels, but quickly realized they didn’t allow pets which was a limiting factor for us. We arrived around 9pm on a Saturday and had absolutely no difficulty checking in. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite and humorous. The hotel common areas were clean and commendable. It’s not the ritz-carlton, but I’d say it was at the higher end of cleanliness for budget hotels. Our room and bathroom were both clean and orderly on arrival with no odd smells, stains, etc.

The free breakfast in the morning had a wonderful spread of items. Eggs, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, juices, coffee, milk, tea.

We had to extend our stay by a day due to a last minute change of plans and the front desk staff were able to kindly provide us with a discounted rate for the extension. Can’t thank the staff enough for everything.

Food and drinks: Many food options nearby on the Main St. Waffle House, McDonalds are on the same property or adjacent.”
