Came to North Carolina to visit the in laws for Christmas, this park is beautiful has great scenery. The playground is great for kids with a variety of equipment for them to play on., trails to walk on, a dog park for dogs. There are even little libraries to read a book and look at the beautiful leaves.

Excellent park to allow your four-legged friend to burn off some energy. Clean, shaded, and fenced in large area with benches for relaxing while they play. There is a playground and rec center within the same complex if you have children who want to play as well. I saw a lot of people walking the sidewalks that lined the outer edge of the park. We will go back many times as this is the nicest park I have visited in this area.
Playground: Very nice, easily accessible playground, seemed to be quiet and peaceful, not crowded which I really liked. It was well maintained and clean.
Dog-friendliness: Amazing clean dog park area with separate fencing for big and small dogs. That was a huge benefit for us. Our golden retriever is 110 lbs and hyperactive.

Dog-friendliness: Popular place to walk your dogs on leash. Many paths and drives to facilitate exploring the park and enjoy watching the tennis players and ball games!

We bring our dog to The dog park, and it's great.

We had a great experience watching the outdoor movie that was presented. However, we had to walk across to the other side of the big playground to use the restrooms. It would have been nice of them to offer the rec center facilities, which are cleaner and more well lit. The women's restroom wasn't in too bad of shape, but the men's restroom had the soap dispenser ripped off the wall and a soiled diaper on the floor.

Very nice park with nice walking trails. Nice looking playgrounds to take grand kids to one day. Clean restrooms.
