This was my first time at Zen Yoga and my class with Christine for a slow flow yoga class. I left the class feeling relaxed and completely in bliss. I'll definitely be back!

Christine and her instructors are so wonderful. I love the variety of class offerings as well as the peaceful vibe that comes with practicing at Zen Yoga Center. I’m a very loud and busy person and Christine helped me find my quiet.

During this pandemic I was searching for zoom yoga classes and I found a great place. I've been attending virtually for six weeks now. Zen Yoga offers a variety of classes and excellent instructors. One of my many favorites is Renee Baker's Yoga Basics. The name sounds like it is a class for beginners but actually it is an opportunity to improve and make your practice more interesting and challenging. Each Basics class focuses on a different part of the body; i.e. feet, knees, etc. I had been doing a pose that never really felt exactly right. Renee gave me a tip that aligned my hips, was great in explaining how to get in and out of the pose, and suddenly everthing clicked into place. I keep thinking "If only I had known that sooner."

I have been missing the gym during this lockdown and looking for zoom yoga. One of my gym yoga instructors recommended Zen Yoga Center. I have tried two classes and really love it. I may not be going back to the gym when it reopens. Last night Michael Johnson taught a Slow Flow class with sun salutations and music that affected me deeply. I look forward to trying the variety of classes that Zen Yoga offers.

Excellent! The owner/instructor is kind, helpful, friendly & very knowledgeable. She welcomed me as soon as I walked into the studio & assisted me during the session with some challenging poses. The yoga space is clean & provides all the needed equipment. I would highly recommend this place, especially for restorative yoga. I have a shoulder injury & the class helped alleviate some of the discomfort

I've been doing yoga for just over a year and have recently discovered the Zen Yoga Center, and I can't say enough good things about it. I've been attending Flow Yoga classes every morning and have been to a few of the Restorative Yoga classes that are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, (even if you're not a practitioner of yoga you're really cheating yourself if you've never done Restorative...it's amazing and you need no prior experience to delve right in!) The space is both quiet and cozy, and the instructor, Chris, whose classes I've been attending is really intent on making those of us in her class get the full benefit of the practice. There are still a lot of poses that I have yet to master, but Chris's focus is more centered on the work towards those goals as opposed to rushing -- or even forcing -- her students to achieve something before the body is ready. (This may seem like an obvious way to teach, but I've known some yoga instructors who take a different approach.) So, a quiet, lovely space, a friendly and knowledgeable instructor, and me feeling better at 51 years old than I have since i was a kid leaves me no choice but to HIGHLY recommend the Zen Yoga Center...and this is coming from someone who, 14 months ago, wouldn't have believed I'd ever try yoga once, much less practice it five days -- and sometimes more -- a week.
