This walgreens is incompetent. Especially the young women with glasses and long brown hair. Pray you don't have to talk to her.
I scheduled a vaccine for Tuesday in the walgreens system. I show up and have to wait 20 minutes even though there's no one else there only to be told they don't have the vaccine I'm scheduled for.
On top of that, I had to listen to this young woman think it wasn't time for my second shot even though my paperwork and the walgreens system were both telling me it was time.
I was told they will order it, it will arrive the next day between 11 and 2. I thought I would play it safe and go on Thursday since I have to take off work to do this.
Show up Thursday, and the vaccine they have is only for children. Do not trust this pharmacy to do their job.

Among the worst of any business.
Walgreens has a nice app, which updates readiness of your prescription fill in real time. Voilà! It's ready. And pharmacy is right in the middle of business hour.
So you go, and... Lunch Break! Nowhere else this info is posted: not on the App, Walgreens' website, or their very own pharmacy counter when handing in your prescriptions. It only appears magically when nobody there.
Edit: initially planned to wait on site, then was told it would be ready... wait for it, in more than one hour!
No wonder Walgreens stock WBA plunged more than 20% today, and it's down almost 80% in the last five years vs SPY (SP500 ETF) up almost 90% plus dividends, or QQQ (Nas 100 ETF) almost 160% plus dividends. Imagine this: five years ago, you put $10,000 in Walgreens stock, today you can get $2,000 back, plus paltry of dividends, vs. you have $19,000 in SPY, or $26,000 in QQQ, each with many times more dividends. Basically, a pathetic penny-pinching domestic vacation vs luxurious international vacation, with first-class flights, lux hotels, etc. etc.
From stock performance alone, Walgreens mismanagement is widespread.
Patronizing this pharmacy at your own risk if you will. And in general, deal with Walgreens very carefully.

I was able to switch to this pharmacy without any trouble.

Do NOT go to this pharmacy. Other walgreens take RX cards for discounted prescription drugs but they refused to and wanted to charge me over 600 dollars for a 90 day supply of a generic drug that cost less than 20 dollars at other pharmacies. Steer clear of this place, not trust worthy at all.

I went in to get 2 prescriptions filled and the pharmacist was so rude. My prescriptions were sent twice and they stated they didn’t receive it. Then they said they couldn’t promise it would be filled. I ended up asking the doctor to send my prescriptions to another pharmacy. How can you be so obvious with your unprofessionalism. No customer service ethics. Will never choose Walgreens again.

Worst pharmacy on the planet. Long lines, poor service, incompetent staff. Every single time I’ve been here there is some kind of problem- insurance issues, re-shelved meds, incorrect records, wrong price, etc. Transferred elsewhere as it wasn’t worth the headache.

This Walgreens is one of the worst branches I’ve had to deal with. They screw up my orders every single time, cancel scripts without contacting me that my doc ordered, lie about the status, submit it to insurance improperly so that I have to constantly check I’m not getting overcharged. The customer service is abysmal. Go somewhere else.

Slowest Walgreens ever. I have been trying to use this pharmacy for prescriptions since they opened at the previous site of Apex Funeral Home. They are slow to fill prescriptions because they are more concerned about not honoring the goodrx coupons than getting the line moving. Twice recently I tried again to deal with them. The first time, a guy tried to charge me double the price that goodrx had given me on the coupon. I pushed back, he fiddled around for five minutes and then said, I got it to work for you, and some excuses about how it was a goodrx problem. NOPE. Because months later, same thing happened, this time a woman again told me, it's double the price I was supposed to pay. I refused and left, transferred the prescription to the next Walgreens down 55 at Jenks. Guess what? They gave me the right price in about ten seconds--no long wait for them to mess with the computer. What are they doing? It takes me about ten seconds to pull up anything on goodrx site. No reason to be jackoing around on the computer so long, get the job done faster or get someone that knows what they are supposed to be doing.

I have tried to write a complaint to Walgreens who conveniently do not have a portal working properly to leave a complaint. I tried to contact customer service and they are encountering long wait times. Quite simply I have met one of the most unhelpful and useless employees ever at the 511 W Williams Street location. It stems from signing up for a vaccination, and I have had all my vaccines as well as many trips for discretionary spending at this location. I am comfortable with the store even though there are closer pharmacies. I will simply state the one star rating is over generous. Although there were appointments available, they could not find mine, made me download a walgreen app on my phone to sign in (which took over a half hour), went back and the same individual who stated "you still don't have an appointment", I asked well can I get one or wait for one and was met with a blank stare. I don't understand how employees sensing distress and confusion can't take 1 or 2 minutes to assist a customer. I left without my shingles vaccine and I will never step in a Walgreens again even if my life depended on it. No prescription need or product need could drag me to this or any Walgreen because of the appalling lack of sensing a customer needed help and refused to give it. If the world is coming to putting it all on the customer to fill out information on their cell phones when they are at the counter, we live in a sad world and apparently this is what Walgreens allows their representatives to do. The least amount of customer service for what they are paid to do. Obviously this Walgreens paid this individual far too much and gave them too much authority with their Walgreen badge.

Slow, rude, unhelpful, and lackadaisical pharmacy staff. I noticed a decline in customer service prior to the pandemic, but perhaps the pandemic was its death knell. I hope this location closes because they're a joke and embarrassment within the community. Apex can do better, and other pharmacies do.

I waited in the store for over an hour for rx transfer. was told by Ericka, the pharmacist, that it was never received. Went to Harris teeter and was shown a confirmation, then called Walgreens to see if received and Jackie tells me, "first let me clarify that I don't usually work at this pharmacy." I told her that I did not need her to clarify that and she hung up on me. I go into Walgreens and ask Jackie for the manager and also ask if she was the one who hung up on me, she gladly said "yes I did." Then tells her customer that she drove over an hour to work at that store. I blurt out "you don't need to be here." Jackie asked me if I wanted her to leave, then finished with her customer and tells Ericka, "I'm leaving" and clocks out and leaves them hanging. Wow! The technician at the drive though turns around and says to me "thank you very much." WOW! I ask Ericka, the manager, to file a complaint and she stands there pissed and at the same time explaining the transfer. I tell her I have been patient and will continue to be patient however this does not justify why you would blame your interpersonal problems on a customer and treat me this way. She angrily asks do you want me to handle this or do you want to go higher up? The store manager had to get involved due to the unprofessionalism of the staff and at this point I am crying and my 3 year old sick child has been waiting for me for over an hour. I arrived at Walgreens at 11:20am and left at 1pm. I have never in my life been so humiliated and mistreated by a bunch of so called health professionals who chose a career to be caring and compassionate to the people in need of their services. This was my neighborhood pharmacy, but as long as these people work here I will never go to this store and I will spread the word to all of my family, friends, and colleague's, as I am a healthcare professional as well. This pharmacy does not model excellence in any category and they should be ashamed to have Ericka and Jackie and the tech at the window who thanked me, working for this company. Get rid of them or you may be at risk of litigation in the future.

Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. Wait times were bad pre Covid, but now they are atrocious. Their solution is to limit pharmacy hours even more so people have an even harder time getting their prescriptions. I had a prescription on automatic refill that they still failed to get in stock before I ran out EVERY SINGLE MONTH, like it was a surprise I needed it filled. I get having a staffing shortage but there’s honestly no excuse for how terrible it is.

Drive through for prescriptions is beyond ridiculous. You cannot take 20 minutes per car. I am literally trapped. What they can be doing in there is anyones guess. I've been on this line for 28 minutes and 2 cars have been helped.

The best grocery store. Only bad thing about it is the prices. It is typically the most expensive grocery store.
