I loved working with Tara and Larry to redesign my wedding and engagement rings into one new ring. We discussed my original ideas and worked through the pros and cons of them. Larry then created a CAD drawing so I could see the proposed design and make suggestions. In the end, I have a piece I'm thrilled with and am excited to show off! I highly recommend Virtuoso Jewels for your custom jewelry.

Highly recommend Virtuoso Jewels for ANY jeweler needs. Unfortunately my wedding set had not been properly cared for by a previous jeweler. I took it to Virtuoso and had the most amazing experience with Tara and Larry, redesigning and recreating my ring. It is stunning! I could not be happier with the quality, commitment and creativity that went in to making my ring perfectly, exactly the way I envisioned. Larry is a master at his craft!! Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Virtuoso Jewels. I stumbled upon this jewelry store when visiting my son in Apex, NC. I had been looking for several months for a garnet ring. I found the most beautiful garnet stone in Virtuoso. I worked with Lilla who is very informative a professional. Virtuosa was able to take the garnet stone and place it in a custom setting that is amazing. I have received multiple compliments about this beautiful ring. I also bought some lovely green garnet earrings. I didn't even know green garnets existed. I was also able to have my wedding ring sized and cracks fixed. The wedding ring waas beautiful as when it was a brand new ring. I will definitely visit this store again and hope you do too.

We dropped by Larry's work station -- randomly from interest -- and he shared with us his fascinating journey to becoming a jeweler. What became apparent very quickly is how much he loves his job, how customer-oriented and skilled he was (he showed us his previous pieces), and how he's also a father above all else. Since we need to get our gold rings resized soon, we'll be definitely come back!

We brought an antique opal ring into Larry that required some very fine detail to rework a large bevel around the opal . His work is artistic and very well done. We could not have been in better hands and artisan touch to make the ring whole and wearable again.

Larry recently altered a necklace for me and I am very happy with the job that he did. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent communicator. Larry is incredible. He does repairs and custom design and is absolutely a wizard or a genius (or both) I'm sure of it! I wish more people around the RDU (or the state, or just the country...) knew about him - I mean seriously, "Certified Master Jeweler" since 1997?! I had no idea this was a thing and I can see EXACTLY why he's certified. He blew me away. Quality of repairs is impeccable. I can't even tell where my chain broke, it looks brand new!!! He wasn't afraid to be honest and tell me what he recommended based on how much I wear my necklace; I learned so much just from this one visit. I truly appreciate how awesome Larry is and Virtuoso will be my ONLY jeweler from now on (I live in GRAHAM an hour away and work in Apex, insane I know). He's worth every single penny though knowing how much I can trust him with anything I leave to him from now on. Thank you SO so much Larry. I can't wait to start some custom pieces with you!!!

Larry helped me to recreate my great-grandmother’s ring in a more secure setting that remained true to the original concept (top photos are orig and bottom are the new) - he is trustworthy, caring, patient, a master of his craft - and also just a very nice guy. Highly recommend Virtuoso for beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. Stop in and check out this GEM of a store in downtown Apex!!
