I would like to give a shout out to Mike over at the Truist Beaver Creek branch in Apex for taking time to assist me over the phone. I am trying to obtain some foreign currency for an upcoming trip and two of the Cary branches could not provide that service for me. All regional banks like Truist are going through some tough times right now requiring layoffs, understaffing, etc., and massive consolidation will occur before things get better. I for one am pulling for them, and especially for the folks like Mike who show up everyday and do their best to help us.

Don't go or deal with this branch. This review is a result of many interactions and not perhaps the banker could be having a bad day. This means the bad experience is a repeating trend. The bank manager, Sonny, is consistently rude, and egotistic, and he acts like he is doing the customers a big favor by helping them with banking transactions. Rotten leadership all the way to middle management... The branch manager, Sonny, and his lady manager. No wonder banking here is a terrible experience.

I wish that I had read these reviews when I decided to choose this bank. I have 2 accounts here, one is a joint with my husband and one is mine alone. to transfer from an internal account to another should, or at least it has been on my past banks, immediate. It takes one day and was told online there would be a 3 dollar fee and may take 3 days. I went in to talk to a banker. the one I joined with is no longer there and the one left was meeting with another client. I sat patiently for 30 minutes. Half way into that wait time a client with a 11:15 appointment came in and sat with me. When the banker came out at 11;02 I told him I just had a question and would only take a few minutes, he, in a haughty manner, said "we try to work on appointments only". He turned and left before I even had a chance to say I just had a question to confirm. I am glad that Josh got a promotion, he was great, but this banker will not be mine nor my husbands.

Darn, I use this branch because of convenience. With gas prices what they are I try to run errands in one swoop. Used the drive through yesterday wanting to make a simple deposit. There were FIVE employees that I could see and only one customer inside. I was the only one outside. I waited and waited and finally turned off my engine. After awhile an employee looked my way and asked if I was being helped. I said no, out of the five of you working no one bothered to even look my way until now.

Entered this branch wanting to withdraw money. I had my identification card but no debit card. I was told that I was only allowed to withdraw 500 and then the amount changed to 400. When asked why they were told that it was policy. When asked to see the policy they refused to show me. Was told that the person I’m talking to is the floor manager and there’s nothing more that they can do for me. I understand there may be limitations when you do not have your debit card & just have your North Carolina’s drivers license with you however the policy should still be shown to the customer whenever they ask .Also as others may know truist is a merger of two banks being BB&T and SunTrust. This merger has been a nightmare. I feel for the other customers who are going through this merger and getting the short end of the stick in situations like this.

Sonny needs to go. He's a poor excuse for a branch manager and I told him so to his face. I have reported him twice to his Manager Vickie Butts, nohelpbtheee either. Just flat out rude as heck, thinks he's Mr it! Went to Downtown branch with same issue. Resolved in about 3 minutes. With Sonny, he never returned calls, asked for things not needed, just flat out bad service all the way around. If it were not for Ben I'd never step foot in this branch again.

I ordered a new card exactly a month ago and have yet to receive it! They have put my current card on a block and they want me to go in to get a temporary card because they can not take off the block. No one told me my card would be blocked and mind you I am in quarantine, so I would have to go out of my way to get a temporary card until I receive a card I ordered ONE MONTH ago! The 1-800 number told me to actually go to the bank and you wonder why Covid keeps spreading

It’s Saturday mmorning at 9:15 am. Outside of bank and they are not open!Website says they are open 9-12 on Saturday. Went to drive thru and it was closed as well. The drive thru had a sign posted that the bank was closed on weekend???? Great job of posting your hours.,.

I just got off the phone with a gentleman named Justin and the service was amazing!! I was off the phone in minutes and my business was concluded. He stopped someone from taking money out of my account after I had been tricked into it and also waived my fee!! Thank you Justine!!!
