I have been going to Jay Andrews for a little over a year now. My hair was not in the best shape when I arrived at the salon and Erica has totally transformed my hair. I would highly recommend seeing her.. she’s amazing and very knowledgeable for your hair needs. The salon is very professional and friendly as well. I highly recommend Jay Andrews!

After several hair appointments with this salon, for one of them I was late due to a very unexpected and stressful personal situation. I received a phone call that I was late. I was right down the road and said I could get there in 2-3 minutes. The salon did not care that I could get there, they were only interested in charging me full price as a penalty for being 10 minutes late and did not care about me as a person or customer. Doctor offices don't charge that much for being late and try to work you in when an unfortunate and unexpected situation arises. Not the case with this salon. It appears high late fees is is a good source of revenue for them.

I love coming here, all of the staff are very kind. Courtney and Victoria are my girls, they always give me the best cuts! If you’re looking for a great haircut I recommend either of them, they are excellent. I plan to keep coming here as long as I’m living in Raleigh!

Maria just cut my daughter's bangs to rescue her from a self-inflicted hair incident. She was really kind and sensitive--and didn't even charge us for the cut. We will definitely be back.
Erica is my regular stylist and she's wonderful too. She listens and makes helpful suggestions when I'm not sure what I want. She's easy to talk to but is also chill when I feel like being quiet.

Connie, the owner, has been my stylist for 15 years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! All of the stylists at the salon are amazing and I love the atmosphere! Definitely the best salon in Apex! ❤️

When you HAD beautiful long layers with a perfect “V” shape in the back and ask for a trim of ONE inch—-absolutely NOT a blunt cut…and you end up with 3 inches cut off and looking like a 4th grader whose Mom cut your hair. If your stylist doesn’t know how to cut hair they should let the client know so we can go elsewhere. I literally could have chopped her hair off straight across!!!

Good experience the first time but the last session was a little bit of a disaster. We hope the hair would grow out a lil bit and get better but it's gotten worse where we decided to hold off till we go for a correction.
Again, a one off and not a reflection of our otherwise good experience with the salon

I cannot say enough good things about this salon!! My husband and I have been going to JA since they opened over a decade ago. I’ve tried so many salons prior and never found the “one” until I met the owner, Connie at JA and immediately became a client after my first appointment. Recently our teenage children have also become clients. Connie and Maria clearly know magic because I always walk out with two really happy, smiling teens. And that is QUITE an accomplishment!!! The staff is always very accommodating and I love that I can sit in the processing room with my laptop and work at the same time. JA is the best around hands down :)

We’ve been going to this salon for years. My son was 16 minutes late (stuck in traffic coming from school). The salon charged us full price and told him to reschedule. Typically, it takes the stylist 20 min max to cut his hair, so she would have stayed an extra 5 minutes. I would have understood if they rescheduled him, but to charge him full price as a no show is wrong. Customer service is not important to this salon.

Love this place! I have fine hair and Connie has helped me keep my color beautiful while maintaining healthy hair! I highly recommend for gorgeous color and natural looking highlights. 10/10

I always get my hair cut at Jay Andrews Salon, and would recommend this salon. I have been seeing my hair stylist here for years. All of the hair stylists here are talented. While I typically see Erica, I've had my hair cut and styled by other stylists here as well, and have always been happy with the results. I also really like that they use Aveda products. I brought my sister here to get her hair cut as well while she was visiting and they did an amazing job of finding an appointment for her and giving her a beautiful haircut. The salon is small and tucked away next to Marco's Pizza in the Publix Pointe shopping center.

I cannot imagine trusting anyone else with something as personal as caring for my hair! Connie, the owner, has been my stylist for nearly 20 years and I appreciate her kindness and expertise. She was sweet enough to style my hair for my recent wedding and I felt so beautiful! Count me as a lifelong client!
