Staff is not very pleasant. Went there today to try and donate several kids size bikes that are in great condition. We were treated as if our donation was a waste of their time. When asked if we could donate some, we were told they would only accept a couple of the "best looking" ones. Ma'am this is a goodwill. Really rubbed me the wrong way.

Like most NC Goodwills it’s not fancy and somewhat messy. The thing I dislike most is how the toys are randomly thrown into a bin.

I'd like to share my recent experience at the Apex, NC store. Today, I visited the store with my kids and my mom to shop for some items. While there, I found a PC chair for my son, but it didn't have a price tag.I took the chair to the cashier, and he mentioned that he needed to ask his manager about the price. Upon returning, he informed me that the manager didn't have the time to address it. I politely requested to speak with her.The manager returned with a less-than-friendly attitude, asking, "What do you want, ma'am?" I kindly requested that she price the chair as it was intended to be a Christmas gift for my son. She responded by yelling at me, saying she was too busy, waving her hand in my face, and then she shut the back door, displaying complete disrespect. This incident was very embarrassing, especially with an audience. I'm currently pregnant, and the stress of this encounter caused my blood sugar to spike to 200, leaving me unable to drive. I had to call my husband to pick us up.

It's becoming questionable at this point if any Goodwill can be considered a thrift store. But a regular store due to it's pricing methods. I agree with others that prices have increased on donated merchandise. Bikes are way to much household items are laughably high some shoes even curled at the toe because their so worn, have been individually priced to high. I can window shop on rodeo drive in Beverly hills not in goodwill

Nice and clean. Fair prices. Clothes hanged by color, not by size. There are some bins you can go thru in the back, a lot of items to choose from. Everything from slippers to books and bikes. Very well kept and organized. I'll come back!

I went to register to pay for 2 pair of children's shoe's size 11 which says on the wall and on the website $2.89 a pair for children's shoes. So the total should have been $5.78 and $6.18 with tax. I ask could she break a $100 cash bill. The lady said she did not have enough change yet which is understandable so I was going to pay with debt card but she said my total was $8.99. This is unacceptable and I'm not sure why the correct prices that are on the wall right behind the register are not honored.

Thrift store shopping was once fun, enjoyable and frugal….. This review is about how excessively priced some items are for items that are received for FREE. This is extremely disappointing and unfair. The manager is also horribly rude to customers and at times loud and aggressive. Hoping someone reads this and responds accordingly

Prices are too high for FREE DONATED items. Many things are priced close to original new in store prices, esp artwork. For example, they are asking $10 for a damaged frame that sold at Kirklands NEW for $20.

Sold me two defective TVs. I went back to ask them about it and they said they test everything and blamed the broken screens on me. Do not buy anything but clothes from here. They could care less if things are broken or not. They will still sell them. The assistant manager I spoke to was rude and condescending as well.

Permanent marker ruins everything. Prices are getting out of control. Many items priced more than regular stores.Chipped up plates for $10 each. There's a woman who has a chair right by the back door everyday 8-9 hours a day waiting for new items to come out and grabs everything good. Some women that work there including one of the managers complain out loud about the customers and ignore you at the checkout just making you wait and wait while they they gather clothing from the dressing room. Not the best goodwill around. Very Very dirty, but cleaner than the one in Cary.

Loved shooting here for a diverse selection of clothing, home goods, tools, building supplies, as well as books.

I went here to buy an old, banged up bread box that wasn't even clean to use as part of a funny white elephant gift. It was priced at 6.99 which was way too high. After waiting far too long for someone to come to the register, I asked the lady if she would take 5.00 for it (again.. more than it's worth but I had plans for it), and she asked what the marked price was. I told her, and she proceeded to rudely tell me that the marked price is the price, no negotiations. You would think they wouldn't be so greedy about things that were literally given to them for free.I walked out and will never go to this store again. The staff is rude, the store is unimpressive, and the prices are ridiculously overpriced.Goodwill continues to show it is a greedy business masked as a "do good" company.

Not a bad goodwill but when you have people who come in a sprinter and sit by the back doors. Two days in a row they just sit on stuff by the bavk doors and basically claim things. You have no chance they are a group of atleast 4

Decent location. Nothing exceptional there, the staff isn't the friendliest, and prices are a bit much in comparison to what you'd expect. Also, not in great shape in regards to cleanliness either.

I gave this place 5 stars, for a good " personal " reason. I was visiting family for Thanksgiving, and needed some cooking supplies, I ended up finding an amazing sauce pan, extra large frying pan and cooking utensils, for LESS than $20 total!!! One of the items new in a retail store alone would of been much more. I also ended up buying a great desk, that I have a strong feeling came from Pottery Barn, for only $26, covered in a nice holiday table cloth it served as a wonderful buffet table for Thanksgiving dinner. If you are patient and can look through things, and are ok with maybe a little elbow grease, humble, great, and even simple treasures can be found. I've visited a few times and new things were always being brought out and SOLD!! So if you see it, get it! Nicer things didn't last too long, but more was always coming. Happy Treasure Hunting
