“What a treasure to find! I had a nasty cold, but saw something on the FB page that I needed. I contacted the owner and she was easy to work with. I felt like she went above and beyond to help. I will definitely be shopping there again!”

She guaranteed that both the vendor and employee responsible were retrained on internal processes, so that’s good enough for me. I just don’t want it to happen to someone else. We all make mistakes, but it’s how we do better and learn from them that’s most important!I was having a desk held for me here by Rachel D with Booth #23. I planned to be there to pick-up the desk around 1pm. The desk had a note with my name on it, and the vendor managed to sell it right out from under me while I was in the store coming to pick it up. I drove all the way from Holly Springs for NOTHING. That is not how you run a business. No asking the other buyer what their name was or letting them know it was on hold.”
“At times it's a little difficult to move around. It's a small store with no shopping baskets or carts, but they usually have nice items at a reasonable price. Keep in mind that this is a consignment store, not my idea of a thrift store. They usually have a good variety of decor items; farmhouse, boho, cottage core, beachy, and even some antique looking pieces. I've seen items by Rae Dunn, Pioneer Woman, and Simply Southern, Hobby Lobby, Pier One, Michael Kors, and more. They have small furniture items, clothing, hand bags, jewelry decor items, dishes, toys, electronics, video games, collectables, art, and vintage/vintage look signs, some items even new in box. I've scored several great finds here!”
“I have been going to Beacon since around 1995. I love the thrift stores and the mission does a great work for the community. Going in the stores and browsing around, finding treasures is therapy for me. The workers are so friendly and helpful. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is because recently the music is so loud especially if you are in the miscellaneous section. Loud music triggers anxiety for me. I understand it’s not all about me. But I love my Beacon stores and really want to be able to continue to go. I f you could please consider this. Much love to you all ♥️”
“This store is definitely my go too very reliable and wonderful people working the way they run this company is more than I can ask for I would definitely recommend people to come and check it out you will not be disappointed”
“Have gone here since I was a kid with my mom and now as a mom myself! Never had a bad experience here! The costumer service has always been so welcoming and kind! Love it!”
“The reviews are right about the poor attitudes from the employees. I’ve had interactions that left me confused as to why they lack basic manners. However, it’s a clean, organized and reasonably priced store. Lots of great brands in good condition.”
“Best thrift store in NC. The owner truly has some hidden gems in this store. Great pricing and respectful.Strongly recommend, he will have items in here like GameCubes, Power Tools, Bicycles, etc.He has yet to not have anything that I have come looking for.”
“This is one of my absolute favorite places! Great finds! I have bought dressers, wall pictures , books, art, kitchen items, a guitar, a wonderful usual clock. Love to shop there and take my time! Very helpful, kind friendly staff. I love their weekly updates on Facebook. They have items listed with picture and price.”
“I don’t understand the negative reviews. As a military spouse, I have lived in many places and shopped in MANY thrift stores. I consider Guardian Angel to be the Cadillac of thrift stores…a veritable Disneyland to us thrift store “junkies”. I have to really rein myself in when I’m there. They have a huge inventory and everything is organized and well displayed. The framed artwork is not all dinged and beat up like you see at many thrift stores where they have them crammed into bins. The aisles are wide and you can move around easily. The staff are busy stocking the shelves and the cashier couldn’t have been sweeter. She gave me a military discount! The quality of their merchandise is much better than any of the thrift stores in Durham where I live now or Wake Forest and it is worth the hour drive to shop at Guardian Angel.”

925 Avent Ferry Rd, Holly Springs“I have been in several Goodwill in different states and this is one of the most organized and clean stores. I am super impressed. People that work here take good care of this store. Plus, is not fuel of garbage. I found a nice leather jacket for only $9.99 and it is in excellent condition.”
“This store is led by a very kind women who’s goal is to support her community and the people in need around her. While we were looking around the store she showed us kindness and support as well as letting us know why she started her business. She focuses on supporting her local foster care system by letting families shop here with discounts and taking time out of her day to watch local children. You can shop here knowing everything is constantly going to a good cause and making you’re community better!”
