I think Jon is a good man and a good marine mechanic. I suspect he occasionally gets overwhelmed by the volume of work he is ask to do and as a result is not great about communicating .

Jon did an awesome job getting my OLD Evinrude 9.9 hp back in working order. It needed some serious carbureator help, among other things. He also detected a gas/fuel line leak as one of my issues. Very professional, timely and communicative. Would refer him to everyone!
