Me and my sister came to Barretts Automart to test drive and purchase a car. The owner took my sister license and a picture of her license and all her car is parked in the lot. He did not join us for the test drive. We spoke to him on the phone at least 7 times during the test drive. Then told him we would purchase the car but had to find a way to withdraw the money because I’m not from the area. This took a lil while. Even though still In contact with the owner. He called the Angier police on US and said we stole the vehicle. This was right after we told him we were planning to purchase. The cops said we were not in the wrong and let us go. Please do not do business with them. They profiled us and assumed we were stealing the vehicle. And I showed back up with all the cash in full and declined to purchase the vehicle after being blocked in by 4 police cars. I’m disgusted.

We rented a 26' Truck from Budget that is located at Barrett's Automart. Picking up the rental was a breeze. The paperwork was pretty straight forward. Jeff was super helpful and friendly.
