Stopped in for some guitar strings and it felt like I went back in time. I love having a neighborhood music store vs. a giant mega store. Highly recommend you stop buy and talk to the owner (sorry, I forgot his name) and support local. He is a wealth of guitar knowledge, something that is harder and harder to find.

With all the big music retailer available I have purchased every single instrument in my house from The Music Mart. Enough said about their service and integrity. So sorry they are closed. I need a keyboard for my grandson.

Since I first started going to and buying from The Music Mart as a teenager 20+ years ago, I've always got the most respectful & knowledgeable service from them. Just the best all around experience and from guys that is just so knowledgeable about everything that has to do with musical instruments and bound to the instrument accessories, I mean just playing out knowledge about everything that's music and will actually take time out to explain it and not being a hurry so not only do you gain knowledge from them, I value the knowledge from experience musicians of myself from anything like guitar strings to guitar amps even when I was in the school band I always took my clarinet to get serviced over there. Not only products it's been around forever to the newest guitar strings coming out or the newest amps or speakers or anything you can be sure they know all products and everything and I value their opinion more than anywhere else anybody else. And even as you're leaving he'll tell you to come back anytime and he values every customer and I remember last time I went in there and he said come back he said even if it's just to talk and chat and conversate about you know the musical instruments or anything music wise you know he's just a real good way to talk to and just sit there and soak up all the knowledge and learn from him, and it's just a special experience all around especially when you're talking to somebody in conversating about different stuff about the instrument and the accessories with someone that has the same passion and music and playing music like he does.

The gentlemen who runs this place is very nice & chill. He is very easy to talk to & understands musicians are on a budget. Anyways we should all be supporting local music stores.

I imagine the store won't remain open much longer, I guess they could be getting some money off of guitar sales but the store has way fewer playable instruments and there's basically never anyone in there. I'll keep supporting them--stop by and give them some money if you can. Local businesses are and have been suffering for a long time now.
