The store is full of almost music. It's packed full! Very pleasant saleswoman. Very helpful and informative. She didn't have what I was looking for in drums but was able to point me in the right direction.

Excited to learn the violin I bought a beginner violin for what I thought was a good deal. I soon learn that the violin would not hold a tune and for the low price of $260 was way over priced especially for a China made violin priced online for $179 so not only was I charged almost $100 dollars over value I will never shop at my local Albemarle Music store. Unless I'm refunded for the full amount. I plan to return it today depending on my service then will determine my next post.

My most favorite place in Albemarle. Truly, one of the last places in today's world that allow you to step back in time (with the train experience) or relive precious memories through the choice of books and sheet music for all instruments. The prices on the musical instruments are phenomenal! Carole doesn't overcharge for instruments, repairs, or an objective opinion on whatever you want to talk about while you're in the store!

The lady that runs the shop is so knowledgeable about her shop and everything that she has on hand. I teach piano and she has always been so helpful and guided me through the different music methods that will benefit me and my students the most. Today, she went above and beyond!! I was buying Christmas books for my students and she went out of her way to make sure that I got all that I needed!! It is always a great and unique experience to shop here!

I took my 10-year old son for his birthday. The owner patiently handed him every instrument he wanted to play and let him play for as long as he wanted. She was so kind and helpful.
