I’ve used village way for years. We have 2 cats Twix and Tequila and a puppy, Nugget. Dr Arfman is great and all the staff are professional and knowledgeable.

The staff at Village Way Veterinary Hospital are amazing. Everyone who works there has been so kind and understanding about my beloved rescue hound, Peter, as his muscles atrophied and he lost proprioception in his hips and hind legs, and then we discovered he also had lung cancer and a huge mass in his chest making it hard for him to breathe. To add to his petit mal epilepsy and hypothyroidism, he became incontinent, stone deaf, and had a thick film over his eyes. But he was still my heart, and the sweetest dog that ever lived. Since he was a rescue, we didn't know his age, but I, personally, have had him for thirteen years, so he lived a long, full life for a big dog.
When I called one evening, AFTER CLOSING HOURS, and said he could no longer move, eat, or drink water, the people at Village Way waited for NINETY MINUTES after they were supposed to be able to go home, so my brother-in-law could get to my house and lift Peter into the car. Dr. Ferguson was very up front about the likelihood that he was bleeding internally and that his system was just shutting itself down. She gave him a very sweet send-off and allowed me to have my sister and brother-in-law in the room with us as well. Everyone who works there has been super sweet and sympathetic. The cat I had when I originally moved here from Rocky Mount developed liver failure a couple of years later, and Dr. Arfmann was just as kind and thoughtful when she had to be euthanized. I can't imagine any other place where your pet would be so loved and acknowledged as a member of your family. I cannot recommend this veterinary service highly enough, they deserve so much more. I just took in my failing Catahoula Hound, Chet, and received the same compassionate response I have learned to expect. I will never take any pet of mine anywhere else.

I’ve been taking my cat here for over a year and I am so grateful to have such kind and caring people look after my baby. They really are the best and are very thorough.

First of all village Way veterinary advertises free first appointment for new animals. Mine was adopted he's new. Second of all I needed his nails cut. They did not cut his nails. I got charged $58 for the visit there was no checkup involved. And this is after they viewed his medical records. What's wrong with this picture? I will not bring any animals I ever get in the future to this place ever. Thank you it was not a pleasant experience

My Zoey went to see Dr Ramos today with a back injury. Since Dr Ramos didn’t have any available appt, they told me to drop Zoey off and Dr Ramos would take care of her between the surgeries. Dr Ramos kept me updated though out the day via phone calls and texts to let me know what treatment Zoey was getting. Also, she sent home detailed instructions with medicine and restrictions my dog has to be on for the next 2 weeks. I love Dr Ramos and the way she always takes good care of my dogs. Thank you Dr Ramos and Village Way to take care of my fur baby.

We brought Precious our 2.5 lb yorkie mix for a second opinion for her broke leg . Extremely happy we did because other vet wanted to do a major costly surgery when she didn’t need it . The other vet said her leg would be useless dead leg their words without the costly surgery. When we brought the X-rays from that vet to Village way the imaging wasn’t clear to make that kind of major decision, more X-rays were done and within no time we had very good news . No surgery was needed at all a few weeks more in the cast and a couple light treatment’s, she was good as new. Precious is 14 years old now and still using all 4 legs . I am for ever grateful to Village way for everything Honesty is one of the most important that’s how trust is built and Village way is A #1 VET Top of my list for our fur babies and I highly recommend them for everyone’s pet needs . Such a great place! I feel pricing if very well suited for the services and PERFECT care they provide. They go above and beyond for the pets and owners, great customer service too! They’re incredibly down to earth! I have been to vets in the past that made me uncomfortable! They’re great for the insane amount of question i ask as-well! They reply back to my emails/calls incredibly timely. Patch and I love it at this one and will continue to use! I literally recommend them to everyone.

Village Way Veterinary has been our go to place for vet care for five years. They have provided excellent clinical and surgical services to our 3 dogs and 2 cats. They to the time and initiative to check in with our post-surgical pets 24 hours after surgery. They are clinically up to date, thorough and compassionate. Dr Arfmann gets down on the floor with our big dogs, and has a great connection with them. Top notch service. Always with a smile.

The doctor and assistant both took lots of time with Olive. They were so understanding and nice as could be.
