Run. If I knew how, I’d remove their tank and get a new company. They came to fill the tank. Turned it off. Then placed all types of warning tags on my door and on the tank to not open the supply valve and to call them to do it….I called and she said for me to do it myself. I said “I don’t know anything about tanks, why did y’all close it?”. THEN THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME TO COME BACK AND OPEN THE VALVE.Wanting me to open it myself after you’ve put all these warnings on it telling me not to….is crazy.

I called the Advance office and spoke with Jennifer. I wanted to get a refill but my tank was not low enough. She stated their policy was to only come out to refill if the tank was at 25% or less capacity unless I was to be put on automatic refill. I asked her what the rate was since I owned my own tank. She stated it was .30 cheaper for customers who were on automatic refill. She said it would be $3.39 a gallon plus a $14 delivery fee. She said she would sign me up and lock me in at that rate. The guy came yesterday to refill. Left a door hanger for $3.70 a gallon. I called Jennifer to inquire about this and she asked me what I was using the propane for. She didn’t ask this on our first conversation and I told her that. She stated she would have never locked me in at that cheap of a rate for a small tank. I asked her what the current rate is and she stated $3.69. The guy charged me $3.70 a gallon on the door hanger. So, I am still getting overcharged even at the current rate. This is not the first time this company has tried to overcharge me. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My husband and I purchased gas logs from G and B in the beginning of 2021 and had Danny install them. He had to come out a few times to fix it but was wonderful and helped us out whenever we needed him. My husband just passed away and I didnt know how to work it myself. I called and left a message for Danny, he never returned my call. So i called again and asked for a service call to show me how to work the fireplace. The lady told me to GOOGLE or YOUTUBE it myself! I'm not looking for sympathy, just help, and was quite willing to pay for a service call. So just know that if you purchase anything from G and B they might tell you to GOOGLE or YOUTUBE it yourself before they come out...if you can get them to come out!response to response from owner: There was no confusion! I called twice and both times requested a service call. NEVER did I ask for someone to "walk through" anything with me over the phone. The first time I called I was instructed to leave a voicemail with Danny...who never called back. The second time I called I was told to just GOOGLE or YOUTUBE it, it was really easy. I thought the lady was just kidding until she kept suggesting it and I said, oh you are serious! I couldn't believe it. All I wanted was for you to service the logs that you installed less than a year ago and won't work. I feel like you are not willing to service the products that you sell and at this point all I need is help, not more problems.

Great place to fill empty propane tanks for your grill. Go inside for grills, gas water heaters, gas logs and heaters.

Called this company to inquire about getting a new natural gas unit and installation. Not once was I given the option to have someone come out and give us a quote like the vast majority of like companies offer. Instead, i was given a price range, told how to measure it and that was all. We got the range but have no idea what set of logs that included. The website includes a section to request a quote but not once was that mentioned. She had no desire to truly help, or to generate revenue for the company. They got 4 stars on Google and based on my experience, that number should be half that at best.

We have been using this company for 3 years since the purchase of our new home. I've been regularly frustrated with the fact that they only deliver to my area on Fridays and should we need a delivery any other day of the week we were charged a $50 delivery fee. However, today when I realized we were out of gas completely (my fault, not theirs, I understand) I was informed that due to covid and new procedures that it would be a $200 delivery fee. In a time where a lot of people are already struggling to make ends meet, this is absolutely asinine. Taking advantage of people and using the pandemic as an excuse is poor business practice and infuriating. We have no choice but to pay this for now, but we will absolutely be switching gas companies as soon as humanly possible.

I am frustrated. I have left messages for weeks and finally got an appointment. I rearranged appointments to make this work and 3 hours before my appt they call and say they are not coming. They did not even apologize and earliest they could schedule was ten days from now on a day I am at work. They told me they are really busy...like that matters to me the customer...advice...hire some extra staff.Obviously you are too busy to need or want any new customers. It has been the most absurd experience...I have to beg for someone to come and sell me stuff!!!!

After two years we continue to be pleased with the service from G&B. They installed a small gas ventfree log stove and tank, got it permitted and inspected and deliver gas on an auto service basis. Gas is a little expensive but it is really nice to augment our heat pump in our family room while we're watching TV at night with a cosy fire. Thanks G&B

I needed service and not only they had an early appointment available and showed up, the problem I had was so minor the man fixed it in a second and didn't even charge me. Costumer service is number one and I will make sure to spread the word on them! Thank you for making my holiday warm again!
