Worst pharmacy ever. The staff there have the aptitude of a 5 year old at best! They have a staff larger than Walmart but takes them 1000 times longer to fill a script. Absolutely the worst pharmacy around the Sandhills. Take your business elsewhere.

I got out of the hospital, could not speak to a pharmacist. It took ,4 days to get my medication straightened out. This drug store is to big to have to go through this. After I went to pick up the medication (I had 3 strokes) I had the wrong doctor listed, no medication, even tho I was called it was ready. I went back and forth between the doctor, the pharmacy. Something is terribly wrong here. The communication is terrible between the doctor and the pharmacy and myself. Wal Green has always been wonderful until lately.. Help...

If I could give negative stars I would, worst pharmacy department I have ever dealt with. Try to call to get information about prescriptions that were sent in and it’s a long shot to get someone on the phone, automated systems don’t work either so don’t bother, and once you finally get through to a “pharmacist” they are extremely rude as if your inconveniencing them by calling or trying to get information on a medication. This hasn’t just happened once either it’s happened on multiple occasions. And the last experience has turned me away for good. Pharmacy agent through call spent more time arguing with me than trying to resolve an issue. So unprofessional and it’s apparent that nothing is done with these reviews or complaints so my sole purpose of writing this is to save the next person the headache of having to deal with these terrible employees. I work in customer service and have for over 12 years and it saddens me to say with how tough economy is these days this place gives zero cares about customer satisfaction and I wouldn’t be dissapointed to see this place go out of business. Learn that your a customer service industry and help the people or continue to shine as the worst in the area. Congratulations on thinking it’s okay to be horrid employees

Walgreens Pharmacy at the Aberdeen nc location use to be on point, but now some of the Pharmacy Staff act as if they don't give a care whether the customer get service or not. On more than one occasion, they have told me that the shipment of Percocet medication did not come in. This last time, after eleven days without my prescription not being filled; Kennedy told me that I could go to another Pharmacy to get it filled. So I did, and I took all of my other prescriptions also. It bad enough to be without your meds for any length of time, but it is a whole new level to be disrespected! I'm out, mike drop!!!

This pharmacy is an embarrassment and Walgreens should be ashamed of its staff in this place. They will openly hang up on you, lie to you and tell you "their insurance processing system is down" and numerous other excuses. We use the Walgreens in Southern Pines instead and it is 100x better. Save yourself the pain and go elsewhere.

Came to pick up a prescription and the lady told us it would take 10-15 minutes. We left to run an errand and came back. The lady told us they still haven’t got the medicine. So we waited in line for another 10 minutes. Didn’t even bother to tell us the first time that they weren’t accepting cards so we had to leave to withdraw cash. Wait is long, staff seemed like they didn’t know anything, and still didn’t get our medicine. Not coming back again.

Pharmacy never answers the phone no matter how long your on hold and prescriptions take hours to fill even if you're the only one waiting!

I have used this pharmacy for years without issue but over the last few months the wait times for have become ridiculous. Cars lined around the building and 15+ people in line in the store are the norm now. Calling isn't any help, being left on hold for almost an hour just to have someone give you an unhelpful answer. The Walgreens app is a buggy joke. I have repeatedly set my medications to automatically refill only for it to be turned off again in two refills or get text messages that a prescription is ready for pick up, wait in line for more than 30 minutes, then be told there is not prescription ready and they don't know why I got the refill updates. Their phone system and website say they are open until 10pm but they frequently have a sign up in store saying they closed early due to staff issues.Final straw for me: An important medicine ran out of refills but was set to automatically refill. Instead of reaching out to the doctor, like they have always done, they simply closed the prescription leaving me unable to request a refill via the automated system and I had to wait for an hour on the phone to be told there was nothing that could be done. I had no idea there was an issue until I ran out on a Friday and found I couldn't refill the medication until Monday. The upside is they make it incredibly easy to move your prescriptions to a different company.

Rude customer service experience from the same female cashier twice. She needs to be reprimanded for her actions.

This is the worst pharmacy in Aberdeen , Southern Pines area. I have been on hold for the pharmacy for over 20 minutes. Nobody picks up the telephone.. I can't reach a manager either.. this store needs to get it's act together or close

The pharmacy staff are some of the laziest and most incompetent people I've encountered in customer service. For retail that might fly, but why would someone align themselves with this type of Employment if they're going to give bare minimum answers and do bare minimum work? Add this review to the pile of bad ones from this establishment. There was one young guy working who I felt bad for, he was nice and was trying, but holy crap. This place is slow as hell, overpriced and SO unhelpful.

This has turned into a Covid testing vaccine site and not a pharmacy. If you need prescription medications you'll be asked to "step aside" while they work on giving vaccinations. I explained to the pharmacist that we couldn't wait for the medication (I'd been there in line over an hour). They'd given my daughter the first dose in the ED last night and you can't just skip the next dose while they give out vaccines. Her response was that she "didn't have time for this". So making sure a child doesn't have seizures is less important than making sure a family has their Covid tests so they can go on vacation. Take your true pharmacy needs somewhere else.

Most incompetent pharmaceutical staff ever!! Told us on a Friday night Rx would be filled in 30 minutes. Decided to pick up Rx next morning. Called to check, put on hold over 40 minutes, arrived at the pharmacy before anyone answered call, waited in line 25 minutes and told Rx had not been filled and wouldn't be until the end of the day. What a waste of time!! Changing to a competent pharmacy today!! Wish I could give them a negative 10.

Wait times at pharmacy are extremely long and it's impossible to get through on the phone. The Walgreens app is useless for prescriptions. Even after putting in for a refill through the app, you still have to show up in person and tell them you submitted it, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering through the app. Their standard line when asked why the prescription isn't ready yet is "Oh, we just found that one. It will be ready in 10 minutes." Unfortunately, the line takes about 45 minutes to get through even if your prescription is ready.
